Love the snow go up there today and tomorrow even 3 or 4 feet of the white stuff I remember as a kid growing up in Las Vegas but for the last twenty years I don't even own a snow shovel in Vegas NV

@@Kathystinyteardrop yes, I really think the pass will be a good way for me to start! And they have a lot of nice parks with pretty water sources. I've seen other videos on Storie and it is really nice. And it's nice that if you want electricity and water you can easily get it. I'm been so stressed playing catch up because my car which is still not fixed, that I feel like I'll never get a van! Sigh, in reality, I know it's just another setback but dang it! Lol

Boy! do I know how that feels! 2 steps forward... 3 steps back! Stay encouraged my friend..give yourself more options than a van..SUV with a small used camper or cargo trailer...can your car tow anything?..hope you get your car fixed soon..🖐😊

@@Kathystinyteardrop that's just it, my car is too old and has over 250k miles. I have thought of a box truck but man after driving my cousin's 8 cylinder the cost of gas for traveling scares the crap outta me! Lol however, I know that you don't truly move but every couple of weeks usually and if you plan right you won't do a ton of miles. But, gee girl, I don't know what to do or think on that. I'm leaning more towards a 6 cylinder van and pull a trailer like you. Teardrops are hard to find and when I do they are crazy high but a little cargo trailer would work. Oh, if it's not something that bothers you maybe a video on your mileage/gas. I watched a few that do tell you but I think it's good to get several people's experience. I spend way too much time on KZread! Lol but wow it's how I learned all I know about van life. Anyway, yeah, the gas thing makes me nervous as heck. The sad thing is girl, I had the perfect van right before I bought my Subaru. Toyota sienna and it was an awesome van but I was stopped turning into my apt complex and had my signal on but some dumb teenager wasn't paying attention and rear ended me and totaled it. Sigh. I would have done been out there. But, that was about 3 years ago and I did t know about BLM land then or van life. I was researching tiny homes at the time when I ran across Bob wells and was so hooked. Lol it had my name all over that video. Then I was like stupid teenager because it was a few months after I got the Subaru that I discovered it. Lol dang it! One way or a other I have to make it happen. Fingers and toes crossed and prayers said. Lol happy trails my friend!

@@Kathystinyteardrop oh and no the car won't tow anything because the tranny is slipping now and then in lower gear. Not often but eventually it will go out. Lol I wish I had bought something else but I spent 3 months riding a bus to get to work in the middle of winter and a friend told me about her neighbor that sells Subarus and he made me a good deal.
