There's this thing called previous use penalty where the more you combine things with a tool or weapon or whatever, the more the next thing costs. @@eclipsekaos6548 I notice that pattern with the enchant tool. What I'm confused about now is you're saying combine 4 books? or is it two books, then two books? would you combine two and add to the item and just continue that chain?

The perfect start is a day 1 iron farm, every time. lol Charcoal? Surely its easier to just find a pool of lava, youre in a desert Yeah, the "too expensive" mechanic is annoying. This price is increased by the number of combinations in the current item. A trick to avoiding that problem is to make sure each layer has the least number of combinations by combining books together before putting them on your sword. For example: ((((sword + mend) + unbreak) + sharp) + looting) is 4 combinations in 1 layer. But sword + (mend + unbreak) + (sharp + looting) is only 2 combinations per layer

Road to 100k!! Juice ur really underrated keep working hard.
this is a perfect commentary of what Minecraft has evolved (devolved?) into since its inception. To start the game, you must beat the game.
Combine the books together before putting them on the tool to minimize the amount of XP you use. So for example if u want to combine 4 books onto a tool, combine 2 together 2 times, then combine those books together, then apply that to the tool. That way, each enchanted book has only been used in the anvil 2 times, greatly reducing the amount of XP needed
