It's crazy because it's always having a healthy relationship with food. Not many talk about a healthy relationship with exercise. Thank you for this.

This video is great, I didn’t realize how much of an unhealthy relationship with food I had until I saw this. I was stressing out over the amount of times you ate bread during the day thinking that if I did that I would definitely gain weight, I rarely allow by body to enjoy cravings and when I finally do I binge and feel horribly guilty about it. This video helped me realized a lot of things but I’m just sure that if I allowed my self to eat what I want I would gain weight, and I know because it always happens so I don’t know what to do 😔

I love your detailed descriptions and examples! I am an older woman with a history of dieting, major weight loss/gain & ED. I have struggled to implement IE since the first book was written. I would love to have had this resource when I was younger, but I truly appreciate you now!

I exercise because it feels good, helps with mood and energy, helps relax my TENSE MUSCLES... And I realize as Im getting older if I don't use it, I'll lose it! I hate feeling like Ive lost strength or cardiovascular endurance. I wanna be able to pick up heavy things and run around without feeling out of breath!

My body can only be exercised every other day or my knees or hips hurt. I gave myself permission to only do cardio every other day. If I want I will do weights on days off. Exercise should be enjoyable. My husband keeps trying to push me for daily walks. Again I need every other day off or I have aches or tend towards injuries which knocks me out of most activity.

I would eat that sandwich. And what you are saying makes complete sense. A friend of mine was trying to explain this idea at one point, but at the time didn't make sense, but then again she didn't really show what that looked like. Seeing what it looks like is super helpful.

I like this video, so helpful. I need a lot of permission - still working through a lot of guilt. That's just where I'm at - moving slowly through it. I skipped two morning walks this week and it was ok ❤️ so I guess I'm making progress yay! Thanks Colleen 😊

Hi Coleen. I love all your content and videos. I do hope you take a moment to consider addressing your thin privilege and how that might be affecting your viewers. It's always lingering in the back of my mind when watching your videos. I'm aware its your body type so thats not your fault, but the conversation is an important one to have ❤

Hey Colleen! I’ve always struggled with the exercise part of being healthy because I never desire to move my body. When I have exercised in the past my main motivator was to change my body, and I get this all or nothing mentality. I have to exercise everyday and feel so much guilt when I can’t. When I’m not in that exercise mode I don’t want to do it at all. Do you have advice? Thank you!

Seeing that 70-80% of Americans are overweight or obese…are most of us really struggling with over exercising too much or not honoring our hunger cues? Seems like majority of us are are giving into cravings and overeating the majority of the time.
