I wouldn’t recommend the school getting you an apartment unless you are good at negotiating . Most people saw flames as some schools try to cut costs and will get you an apartment that’s run down. There was an incident like that not so long and it was saddening because sometimes you trust the school kanti they are only looking out for their pockets and as they should

You can always refuse nje n people just need to be firm with schools, state you want a house close to the school to walk and it just have certain things in it, wifi, fridge, tv as a bonus. Than also ask for pictures before hand to choose the best yol both can agree with neskolo

Hello, thank you for the information you have been giving us and what about medical insurance, should a good contract also cover that one? If i have pgce with one year teaching experience not in a school setting but like a center.. How much do u think i should ask for in terms of salary in T2 city

Medical insurance should be a standard with no discussion. I’ve done a vid on expected salaries and tier city but to answer you well, if your experience is not in China or asia they will look at it as no experience. But ke schools differ some would offer you 17-20 as first time if they are generous. Sometimes when discussing let them pitch the first offer than take it from there. Don’t be the first to say it unless you sure about the numbers which is highly rare for a first timer. But nje play ko 17k n up

Molo Bhuti, yhooo I am struggling to apply. Graduated this year from NMU for Bed(FET) specializing in Accounting and Business studies. Been preparing the documents one step at a time😂 I started with Degree verification from Chinese embassy, then ndalandela nge Police clearance ethathe I 4month😭 ndagqibezela ngo SACE which I am still waiting for them to send me I soft copy. Mind you I police clearance ndiyenze ngo May(but police station bazithumele ngo June/july😭Pretoria) kum ifike ngo September. So iyaphelelwa I think ngo January. I don't know which documents that I still need to prepare, can you please assist🙏. Also if you know good recruitment agencies that I can use when applying, kublank kum🤦‍♀️.

Just have courage and ask for that 20k Yaz there are newbies who get boma 23 24 that I’ve had contact with. It just how you negotiate. Chinese will pull your strings to see how you are.

That verry good offer, living cost in china very cheap compare to salary. U will have a lot to save.
