Yoongi is the type of introvert that heavily depends on the mood and situation. He doesn't like to be the center of attention in most of the cases but sometimes if he has a good mood and feels comfortable with the surrounding he can transform into a louder and bubblier person that steals the spotlight. He's behaviour is also very dependent on the ppl around him. You can clearly see him getting more energetic and goofy when he's with Hobi but more calm and serious with Namjoon and then softer and sweeter with Jimin. I believe it comes from the high sensitivity and each person being different influences him in a different way as well. Actually many sensitive ppl may seem like they are cold or don't give a fuck about things. It's often a mechanism to protect themselves and combined with the fact he doesn't know sometimes how to show his true feelings but rather play it cool makes it even more of a cold facade. Because he is very caring and thoughtful it also means he's more aware of things and can get easily very cautious. That often leads to also looking like a more reserved person, sometimes even heartless, when it's quite the opposite. And the fact that he only truly engages in things he likes or sees as important but just does the bare minimum for things that are not important or make him cringe, makes him very relatable. Many idols will do everything they are told to with a smile as they don't want to disappoint anyone, they feel responsibility etc. But he often shows his opinions or thoughts, he might still do it but won't pretend like it's fun but at the same time he's never rude about it. I think that also makes him more relatable and makes ppl respect him more.

I get why OP wrote the stuff in their video. As someone who has been an ARMY for 6 years and listened to their songs even longer, the image with Yoongi was 'grandpa, savage and rude.' I know it had its reasons. It may not sound so severe, but it affected how fans engaged with/about him in the fandom a lot. Of course, things have changed A LOT now over the years. At the end of the day, I/we/us - those of us who didn't agree with that - used to feel bad because here was a boy with warm energy trying to spread a positive message and people didn't look past what they had already decided was him. He is a cute little man who deserves all the love he can get :3

Ahh Squishy Yoongi owns my heart 😻. I noticed he usually gets a burst of energy when he's told he can go home 😂. Makes sense to me! 💜

Yoongi has such a serene feeling surrounding him. Maybe that's why I feel so drawn to him. He's just a safe space for me

I love your videos Sammy! I personally am a yoongi bias with and I LOVEEE your hobi bias personality!! Yoongi and Hoseok are extremely close members so its always so fun to see you reacting to yoongi! I recommend watching yoonmin (yoongi + jimin) compilations though! Once you get into their world of bickering you will never look back. The best part about yoonmin's friendship is that they are the only to members who constantly bicker (like an old married couple haha) but then there are moments when you can see how much they truly care for each other.
