This is a great tutorial! Very easy to understand. But I'm having a little bit of trouble. I am a blind student whose just starting to learn piano, so I'll request to you that please recite each cords you're playing? I mean, I don't see where your hand goes, so instead of filling the song with lyrics, why not filling it with the cords you're playing? I hope you don't get upset, I'm just asking for a little bit of help?..

Great suggestion! I wouldn't get upset by your suggestion. I'll have to think more on how that would work so that others can hear the melody of the words as well and not just the chords. Do you have someone that can help you beside your piano? I find it fascinating you're able to understand even having the extreme challenge of being blind. So proud of you!

This is AWESOME. I BARELY passed music in school many years ago, but have been playing acoustic guitar for awhile now. Just started learning the bass guitar last fall (we had too many acoustic guys available for our church praise groups, but lost our 2 only bass players...so I figured I'd learn) But I've tinkered with the chords concept on keyboard/piano awhile back and sort of got away from it. THIS. THIS WILL BRING ME BACK. I want to be able to play a song such as this one, to say I can at least do ONE. (but learning the chord method, I'm sure there will be more) So thanks, thanks so much for posting this. Will be watching more. Made. My. Day.

Such an awesome worship song Makes me fall in love w piano 🎹 more 💕 & reminds me of something and someone really special

Wow! I was sexually abused as a child for 5 yrs. During my healing I did talk therapy, dance therapy and music therapy. Singing and playing brought me closer to God while He healed my heart, mind, body and soul. My therapist was lovely but I honestly learned so much more on basic chords in 5 minutes with you then in yrs with her. She never taught me that in the key of C you start on the actual note of the chord and use fingers 1, 3 and 5. I completely forgot how to play until now. And I understand logical sequences for other chords just by common sense on your teaching methodology. I was just told I have 3 yrs to live. I have a rare disease that has spread to 85% of my body and I'm in heart and kidney failure. God woke me up at 4 am to show me this video, to show me how beautiful His name is and how we are going to get through this together. I am so excited. I want to go to the piano right now but my child and husband are still sleeping. I can't wait to feel the closeness of His arms again. Thank you so much. ♥️ And RIP Christine Henes, former music therapist.
