@@UltimateDieselTuning have you noticed if any difference between a 3 vs 3.5 inch dpf back exhaust? Egt, power, etc?

@@nick8143962 compare it to other triton tune figures, the exhaust gains very little over those without it, DPF is a disaster for diesels and power, so restrictive the exhaust only makes a tiny increase, a few kw maybe.

@@scotty5166 actually, removing a DPF in one of these will only gain 15-20nm & about 5kw. Which you will not notice at all. DPF removal only makes a noticeable power/torque difference in V8 common rails, such as Landcruisers.

Well done on the filming, edit was clean and crisp! Definitely get some sweet B-roll of some close ups and slow-mo's would make this look super cinematic and real nice, specially if you could take the car out and 4wdriving!! Definitely love this vid as I too own a blue 2019 triton GLS and would love to so exactly the same mods and tune to mine!! Keep it up guys!!

Hi mate. If it's a high output engine, then they don't make big gains unfortunately. They are already impressive in factory form.

I bought a Yokohama tire, 315 12.5 R17 or 315 70 R17, I'm going to lift the l200 year 2021 in 2 inches and put 38mm front and 32mm rear wheel spacers. Will I have to make some adaptation? Thank you very much!

Definitely! You will scrub at the front without a doubt, going to need to cut a fair bit

Yeah a 2.5 will as well. And exhaust system aids with improving response/lessening turbo lag, once tuned to suit. And will add slightly more power in peak as well.

Got an MQ Triton.. 65000kms . Wouldn't need an ontake clean yet right?? Whats the cost for a tune (Nov 2023)?

It's always a good idea to have a more free-flowing exhaust/muffler setup. It is quiet though.

Kiss it goodbye, and they will do. Engine will not last anywheer near as long as standard, manufacturers spend millions to sort this, tuners couldnt, Just ask them for their 5 year guarantee?

Hey John - it's all good mate... Under the ACCC it is illegal for a dealership or manufacturer to void the warranty of a vehicle due to a remap/custom dyno tune having been carried out. If there is an issue with the engine, then they must prove with sufficient evidence, that the tune caused the issue. We also have our own warranty for our custom dyno tuning service too. Most of the vehicles that we custom dyno tune here at Ultimate Diesel Tuning are all under new car warranty still, with no issues. Hope this helps you out & answers your question John!

Totally fine - it's illegal for a dealership or manufacturer to void the warranty of a vehicle due to a custom dyno tune having been carried out. So this does not affect your warranty.

@@UltimateDieselTuning how is that possible? Coming from performance cars, any form of tuning would result in a flag against the car when detected on a scan at service and void aspects of your engine/drive train warranty.

@@gureno19 easy - they have to prove (with sufficient evidence) that the tune caused the issue. They can't just go & void the warranty because they suspect that to have happened. We always tune within the factory safety parameters that are set by the manufacture for each model as well so our tuning is safe for this. You can call the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association for clarification on this.

@@UltimateDieselTuning yeah its a nice thought and even if it is the law, have fun fighting for it against the manufacturer or dealer...coming from tuned RS3s and dealing with Audi australia over even simple warranty items is a nightmare as soon as they flag your car as "tuned" you are basically dead to them, and it takes month and months of fighting to get things done.

Test drive before you buy. We get lots of vehicles trucked to us from dealerships for tuning, before they're delivered to their customers.
