Not true, most married couples meet at work. Look it up! There's tons of credible data on this. In reality, if Mike had married Jenny, he would've increasingly found himself more attracted to Rachel due to repeated close proximity, communication, similar work ethic and career goals, ability to "understand" each other in their environment, etc. Not to mention Mike was immediately attracted to Rachel from the get go and admitted to hitting on her. Also, driven men like challenges. Jenny looks like the type to be content being a trad-wife or have less ambitious career goals, and possibly wants children. Seeing how ambitious, highly competent, and smart Rachel was on a day-to-day basis (and looking fit and gorgeous without the "baggage" of kids), I could see how Mike would eventually be tempted to pursue Rachel as time went on. If not for keeps, then certainly as an alternative to the life experience he's having at home. Also, let's not forget that we never see him looking gutted from their breakup or him trying to pursue Jenny again to apologize, get closure, or reignite the relationship. For someone Mike was so "naturally compatible with", he seemed to have no qualms moving right along.

Mike grew so much in this series. Jenny was cool for where Mike was in the beginning of his journey. Rachel was "the one" for where he was headed. Mike also mouthed "Iove you" behind Rachel's back when he met her. And then confirmed to Rachel that she was "always the one" later in the series when they got serious. Other than that, Mike was portrayed throughout the beginning of Suits as a bit of a player and "bro". He seemed to have got along with and charmed every woman he came in contact with.

Jenny was totally the one. That smile is the best.
