the point isn't that it's a bad play because it's often a good play, the point is that they will do it too often without thinking

Unironically a rly good vid, the matches illustrate your points perfectly, like you give a tip and then that very match is a great example of it. I don't even play xbow and I'll nvr use these tips in my life bc I'll nvr max out this deck but it was still nice to know, and watch. (I'm single, 6'7, 7 figures a month btw era)

I started watching ur vids like a year ago and im playing xbow ever since, started with archers and switched to bomber bow when i got the evo, im not lvl 15 yet so I cant play double evo but im like 1 lvl off and im pretty excited for it

thanks for the tips eragon! when you have time perhaps you can make a futureproof matchup guide: so like if you see their deck how would you analyze it and form a gameplan? struggling against decks like hog eq (I try going opposite lane, they defend easily with eq, back to playing the game in their cycle) maybe tips for each archetype and playstyle? anyways, love your content keep it up

hog eq you gotta get a lock in single elixir and try and xbow middle so they can’t eq tower as well. sometimes if they go in with eq u can counter with xbow. most important is to get a lock in single if they don’t have eq or rhey knight at the back = pressure aggressive opposite lane

18:00 coming from a guy who just now started elixer counted and card counting and yes without a shadow of a doubt you want to focus card counting bc if you count the cards you should have a rough estimate on elixer if you compare it to what you played and just add/ subtract the elixer you are up or down

learn how to identify common decks/ which cards synergise so you can guess (e.g. fisherman at the back with goblins = rg etc). in terms of counting elixir sometimes i find it easier to count their elixir relative to me. instead of saying opponent objectively has 8 elixir, try and think of it as my opponent is +2 or -1 etc. counting elixir is a lot easier if you do this because you can cancel cards out. e.g they princess at the back and you knight at the back = same elixir, then they goblin gang middle and you archers middle = same elixir etc. you get the idea. hope this helps

another example: if you cycle skele and split archers and they inferno middle, you are +1. then you knight at the back and the split goblin gang, still +1. you xbow and they rocket with skele, now you are +2 etc

get a second device/account and spectate bc it shows opponent’s elixir. i’m like 90% sure that’s what eragon does bc there’s at least one friendly spec who doesn’t emote the whole game. it’s definitely super helpful but a waste of time if you want to be a CRL pro

How does that match prove it?

As a midladder player I'm using the classic 3.0 xbow deck. Should I use espirit or icespirit (for archers)? overall ice spirit works well and espirit saves me from some special situations (mostly against bats in this meta) also it doesn't matter to activate king tower for xbow
