❤❤❤Whale shark watching experience in Oslob, Cebu.❤❤❤
This is one of the best experiences in Cebu, seeing them up close is really a magical experience. These gentle giants, yes, they are very friendly breed, are not dangerous at all. We were not allowed to go very near them but these whale sharks looked like they wanted themselves near us 😍
Prior the activity, we were required to attend a short briefing where our safety and the sharks safety was discussed. Some rules were also laid down such as no touching, riding, and flash photography allowed. We were also provided masks, snorkels, and life jackets. After the briefing, we were given a few minutes to get our gears ready and then we proceeded to the shore and boarded an outrigger boat. The boat journey was short as the distance from the shore to the whale shark area was just about 150 feet.
Just a few minutes after reaching the area, we immediately saw several sharks of various sizes. It was unbelievable! They can be intimidating as they were really huge. Everyone was excited and everyone was busy taking selfies with the sharks. We stayed and swam with the sharks for about 30 minutes. It was well worth it!😍🌎❤🇵🇭✈🏝
