They call it the Whale Shark for a reason. Just as well its feeding habits are similar to whales as well, they're not much danger to humans at all. Pretty friendly to divers actually, they probably think we're funny-shaped remoras.

What a beautiful shark. I just love how big they are. They are amazing gentle giant filter feeders. Their size is elegant and their markings are gorgeous and lovely.
It’s a good thing That despite the whale shark being so big, it’s harmless to us.
Spectacular. RIP bait fish, they got baited.

The prerequisite for getting a joke is to have a sense of humor :(.
Amazing video!
I've heard at least three different stories from different family members about spotting Whale Sharks in South Australian waters. You'd think that'd be outside their range...

MinecraftTopics, actually the blue whale isn't a fish. It is a mammal. So, the blue whale is not the biggest fish! And i have to admit that your question is really interesting.
Thank you very much for these videos BBC channel :)
those clips are cut from a 1 hour documantry called plant earth, i think with 10 episodes
Nature is just beautiful! So much to see, so much to discover... Yes, they are dangerous, but they're only trying to protect themselves from enemies, danger and from us.

BBC - WHY ONLU 360p!?
Filipinos call this "Butanding" it's mixed "pating" (shark) and "balyena" (whale), it's an animal that's friendly but a little bit scared of humans
I'm an adult but i'm still curious with all the things in earth like a child. haha
Amazing!!!
Damn nature. You truly are, SCARY.
very interesting
amazin!
Actually, no. Fish are not mammals. Aquatic mammals (seals, dolphins, whales) are considered a different category of animal from fish (sharks, tuna, anything with "fish" in it's name, like a swordfish, clownfish, lionfish, etc... though the insect: "silverfish" does not count as an actual fish.)

I mean you might say the blue whale IS the biggest fish. It's a secondarily aquatic landfish

It is what you make it. Imo you can joke about anything. That doesn't mean that I would actually eat shark fin soup.
WHALE SHARK. WHUT.
I figured plankton can't be the only food for a whale shark, because it calorie expulsion seems to be more than a blue whale.

does this still count as a mammal
@keaton_jb_meme_central

No. A way you can differentiate a marine mammal from a fish is the tale position. A marine mammal like a Whale and Dolphin’s tail faces horizontally, while fish tails face vertically
