I visited Weymouth whilst in the UK in 2019. I emigrated to Australia from Christchurch Dorset in 1984. I found Weymouth very run down and in need of a massive makeover. A dilapidated sea front and very worn out and tired looking buildings. It was very sad to see what it had become.

I myself live in London for many, many years, originally migrated from Japan. I once visited and spent a whole day in Christchurch. I walked around the town centre, rode a pleasure boat, walked around even in Hengistbury Head and Mudeford areas. As I am typing this I remember I must have visited down there twice because I did far too many things for just one day. Thank you for commenting. Thanks!

Unlike Christchurch it's not on the downward slide that immigration has caused. Not yet, but no doubt it will decline if this problem isn't halted soon
