    I do this kind of work in southern Nevada, we use another material under the final rubber surface, make it more bouncy and lower the cost of installs.

  • @vladimpaler9781

    @vladimpaler9781

    8 жыл бұрын

    You do not want it too bouncy as it will cause more damage to the child such as long bone injury. The bounce is rated in HIC (head injury criteria) using a Triax head drop tester. The base material is not the major cost but is important for surface stability. The main cost is the polyurethane used to binder the rubber granules on the surface wear layer.

    (Obviously not the wetpour), but, would any of your other products or coatings work as a roofing material, for say chicken coops, sunrooms, or small farm buildings ?. Also, do you sell a coating that would work for boat decks, or truck beds ?.

    it is preferred to compact crusher dust or whatever you use to prep for a concrete slab, this will guarantee stability from rain erosion, weeds and good drainage. But technically it can be laid over weeds.

    This is cute. I could put it in the bed of a pickup truck:) Hmm.. It would be great in 1/2 of the backyard so I would not have to cut the grass so much. It would even be awesome in the kitchen & bathroom or the whole house. It would help my feet feel better & it prevents slipping. (Perhaps rubber tiles are better for inside the house)

    You can use a ramp or key join. Just as long as your join is not only vertical. e.g. a 20mm thickness can step 10mm then horizontal then 10mm. This can be achieved with a small piece of 10mm beading pressed into the edge.

    You aren't a builder and apparently you aren't very observant either. It was leveled with a float and final step was done with a finishing trowel. You should probably just stick to your day job.

    Depending on the granules used 1-4mm will give fast drainage 120Litres per square metre per minute. The base layer if 4mesh or our Aero shockpads are used will offer 240litres/m2/minute . System is OneSafe. If a 1-2mm granule is used this will reduce the porosity down to only 10%, this will then require at least a 1-2% pitch to drain away. the 10% will allow any water trapped underneath to drain away and will give a firmer surface for outdoor furniture or light mobility vehicles, scooters etc. This is primarily used on aged care patios, around pools, verandahs, bike tracks and golf clubs, our system is called Cova Rubba.

    How thick are you laying that, surly a 25mm will suffice on a properly prepared base. That would make the product go 4 times further. It is sold by the bag so devide the depth of the bag into 25mm sections and your bag covers 4 times the area. Do some homework before piling tons of rubber onto your drive.
