I reckon you’re right!

Out & back on the detour road is a good example of how something that appears as a mistake winds up yielding value. In this case, it was the lovely view of the countryside. I'm in southern California but hail from the North: Chicago, IL. Even though I get to ride year round I miss "weather" and the atmospheres of Fall, Winter, Spring seasons. Also, perhaps because of family lineage or all those madrigal songs sung when in high school choir, perhaps because of my King Singers recordings such as, "The Oak and the Ash", I just love seeing English countryside. You have no idea how charming the names of towns you pass through are to me. This is just icing on the cake to my interest in your mc vlogs. BTW, I had a 2017 SuperDuke and am looking at it again with its noted improvements. I think I ride like you do . . . no touring so, at least with my dry conditions, I don't need the extra wind protection and the weight of the SuperAdventure, but love the sound & torque of the V-twin, despite the excess. After so many bikes in my over 50 years of riding, I find lighter weight machines to make a huge deference in the enjoyment of motorcycling when the majority of riding in not done in long distance. Cheers pal and thanks for all the effort & expenses you go through to provide us with ride shares.

Honestly... I can't make up my mind about what I love the most in these Motovlog videos... - the amazing landscapes you ride through in rainy&green England; - the cute and lovely villages you stroll along every now and then; - the awesome bikes you get to ride, and those sweet, smart, spot-on reviews from a real world user's point of view; OH 😳 wait... I got it... 😲☝🏼💡 I LOVE THEM ALL 😍🤣😝😁 ... can't get enough of these POV rides... Cheers from PORTUGAL M8! Keep up the good stuff! CONGRATS on the channel - genius!

It is something when you can only use 30 or 40% of what a bike has to give ..I like that my Street Scrambler is the 2017 so less HP and better gas milage and I get to use more of the right hand with out getting death defying .. Beautiful countryside ..Living the dream Rob . ... :)

Agree that there’s definitely a sweet spot for the road. I feel the same about my Trident. But there was no way I was going to pass this bike up!

Keep these Vlogs coming. Really enjoy flicking between the two commentaries on your channels - they complement each other really well.

Oxfordshire has some amazing roads. I spent the last ten years of my career driving all over the county visiting out of the way building projects (think grand designs), and promised myself that I would get back there on a bike.... thanks for the reminder.

Next time I go to KTM I’ll try to leave some time to explore en route. Should be picking up my Trident as I’m not swapping for another KTM this time, so I’m looking forward to the ride home!

I’m really enjoying your Vlogs 👍. Your first channel is great for getting the specs out of the way, but with this channel I feel like we’re getting to know what you really like, or dislike, about the bikes. (As well as seeing some great countryside 😉.) Keep up the good work 😃🏍👍.

Cheers mate! Glad you like it. I think there are people more into biking like yourself who enjoy this sort of stuff so it feels like the two channels are working well. I’ve also seen engagement improve on my main channel since removing motovlog content

I’ve got a tascam sound recorder with a 2 mono to stereo splitter. That way I can run a mic to my helmet and a mic under the seat for the exhaust and it records as 2 tracks so that I can mix them separately in the edit. The exhaust mic has a headphone volume control attached inline too as it was SO loud on the first attempt so I had to bring it down

@@MOTOBOBVLOGS So this then runs independently to your GoPros? Do you use something else for phone or music? I’m keen to maybe have a crack at recording and uploading as I’m getting some requests and would enjoy the process. Just don’t know where to start... Equipment wise.

Yeah then sync the audio in post. You’ve got more control than going into the GoPro I reckon. Tbh if you’re just starting out I’d go for a GoPro mounted on the chin, a tascam audio recorder and a Sony ecm-cs3 mic or purple panda lav. That’s all you need - it’s the content that will determine whether your channel grows, not the gear

Tbh, I wouldn’t be doing it as a money making, just something that I do normally, as in help other riders improve skills in the safest possible way, especially for the returning riders who have had an absence for a while. I do this already with two clubs I’m associated with, just that none of it is recorded. The last part would just be another “tool in the box”. I’ve never been a fan of adding equipment onto a helmet however strapping one one your chest like you do looks the way to go?

These are put near pedestrian crossings, it’s a road traffic offence to park or overtake on them. You will also see yellow ones outside schools.

Yes, the rain has stopped me riding. I guess we could do with some more global warming to dry it up a bit , so no electric bike for me anytime soon if ever !

I want ALL THE BIKES Anyone spare a few hundred Thousand? There are so many fun bikes available (including this one) right now it’s ridiculous.

It's really not for me. Unless you're very restrained you would either find yourself going way too fast most of the time or frustrated that you're only using 20‰of the bikes potential. And KTM's look terrible.
