Westminster Town Hall Forum - Katharine Hayhoe

For our spring 2022 season, the Westminster Town Hall Forum is focusing on climate science and solutions.
The first speaker in the climate series is Katharine Hayhoe, Chief Scientist for The Nature Conservancy where she oversees the global climate advocacy and adaptation work.
Her new book Saving Us: A Climate Scientist’s Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World is a candid look at the science of climate change and what can be done about it. Dr. Hayhoe will speak at the Westminster Town Hall Forum online on Monday, January 31, at noon. The talk is presented in collaboration with The Great Northern Festival and their “Climate Solutions” series.

It's not only about human civilization. It IS about saving the planet--all the other creatures who share this planet with us, who are being put under stress because of a changing climate. Some could go extinct.
