Swear It Again was the song that introduced me to Westlife. Sadly, here in the US they never reached the same recognition as Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC. But even so they truly are a gifted boy band and still going strong now as dads. This song hits me differently recently because three years ago, this week, my dad passed away battling stage 4 sarcoma cancer since 2017, he was 63. He passed peacefully in his sleep March 5, 2020 just a week before COVID shut down everything. My family and I were very grateful we were able to give my dad a wake, a funeral, a proper farewell. But seeing Shane, Nicky and Kian being wonderful dads to their kids puts a big smile on my face and that those kids have some of the most gifted dads in the universe.

Looking at these children I feel like a proud aunt or something, I can't wait to see Mark's baby grow up, as I said proud aunt here, WESTLIFE has been a very important part of my life, and it makes me very happy to see you all with your little ones, happiness and stability is what you have brought to my life with your music, and nothing makes me happier than seeing you happy, thank you guys.

Over the years numerous artists have written and or sang songs dedicated to their children, Lullaby by Billy Joel, Miracle by Celine Dion, Beautiful Boy by John Lennon, Father and Daughter by Paul Simon, Isn't she lovely by Stevie Wonder, Sarah by Phil Lynott and in turn there are songs written re parents, Dance with my Father Luther Vandross or The Living Years Mike and the Mechanics, I'm sure there are many more, Beautiful Boy is my favourite being a mammy of twin boys.

This song needs more attention, it should have 500 million views as of July 2022.

My childhood is full of Westlife music. I'm 27 now and soon I'll also have children of my own, I will also dedicate this song to them and make them hear this. I love you Westlife!😘

I always thank my dad for influencing me to listen to Westlife. I fall in love with english when I was in first grade, and Westlife was part of it. I learned english thru their song. When I first heard My Blood it sent chills all over my body and the hairs on my arms stood on end.. I was separated from my parents at 12. I've been living with my aunt ever since.. I did this by choice, they used to constantly fight over custody. This song brings me back to a time before the fights.... I'm still very close with both my parents. I just have to be close from afar to keep the peace. But they used to both tell me when I was little that they didn't worry for my future because they knew I was strong and could handle whatever life throws at me. Hearing the part where you guys doing "you know there will come a day when I won't be there but my know that you'll be okay 'cause you are my blood." That line reminds me of that. Lots of bands come back together and make songs that don't have meaning and are only half-hearted but you guys created masterpieces. These songs that you've released in the past few years speak to people in ways I can't begin to describe. You're music needs to be heard and I hope that everyone who listens to these songs shares them with friends and family because they deserve more attention. Lots of love and support to you guys!!!💕💕💕

I was only in play school when I started to love Westlife and now I’m a teacher and love them still. It’s wonderful to see how beautiful families these guys I used to look up to had made. How successful Westlife had been in their career and yet so humble and faithful. The “family man” that they are simply proves how Westlife is unbreakable. 💕
