Having completed the Great Divide Mountain Bike route last year, we decided to tackle another challenging gravel ride, The Western Wildlands route. Even more remote and rugged, we experienced long and steep climbs, stretches without seeing other humans, stunning landscapes, wildlife encounters, friendly locals and the joy of 2 wheeled travel, fully exposed to the elements.
