West Sweden: Canoe sailing paradise [4] Easy cruising, crazy sleeping

Спорт

Good weather, no difficult open water to cross, islands galore, light winds on the back: Easy sailing!
In the evening this made for a new experience: sleeping on a rock! Luckily there were many friendly neighbours, and I even scored BBQ and a cold beer!

Thank you for taking the time to do the videos. If I can't go canoe sailing, at least I can live vicariously thru you. When you get back to your "regular" life (and have some time); could you do a video on the outriggers; how you mounted them, where you stow them, and when you use them. Thanks

Thanks I've been ill for a while earlier, always thinking this may be fun for people who can't go out. Burnout now, but back on the water soon. Yes, outrigger video coming up, these were cheap of Amazon, but do the job, some canoe outfitter friends nearly killed me...

Hi from Japan. Lovely segment. Wondering how you will feel in the morning, though, after boulder-sleeping. Fair winds!

Yes, I was sleeping on-edge, afraid my canoe would be gone on the morning, so I woke up and left early!

@@Canoesailor Or you might have just tied the boat to your ankle. (But it still wouldn't have made the boulder less sleep-comfy...)

Another great video. I would be interested to see all that you carry for these expeditions? Slowly getting my sailing canoe kit together......

I made a wannigan, the box I sit on, fully waterproof, it's about 65 litre, i carry a 20 litre daypack as well. I'm quite selective and minimal with what I bring...
