Both the Steam and Diesel Galas have dome well this year. Well done the organisers!

We are both doing not so bad considering our medical complications!

I love the scenery and the drive to CH station .. looks like summers here now .. bit windy though and could be warmer ... I see now why there's so many DM locos ... a diesel gala 😮... not my thing I'm afraid .. though they look well preserved ...

Wow great video Mike…. We went to the Swanage Strictly Bullid Steam Gala on Sunday…. Epic. Will be uploading soon. That train you & Val saw at Crowcombe Healthfield with the musical horn, I’m pretty sure we heard a horn sounding like that coming through Worle station by us this morning, it was pretty early on say 7:00ish. It sounded very similar!!! Do u know if it was due to head back up our way? At all. If it was shame I missed it! I wonder when the HSTS travelling back as well…….

A feast of diesels! Some people thought it was Summer! In t shirts & arms exposed! It’s still very cold here!

I wish the weather would get warmer! The wind can be still be uncomfortable.

Nice to see some smokers for a change..but why was the Teddy bear pulling the DMU is there no spare ECS at Minehead. Any ideas Admiral. Thanks for keeping us upto date on the local scene..

I believe every piece of serviceable passenger rolling stock was put into service for the many trains of the Gala.
