You need to mentioned how insanely expensive the cost of living is in West Palm. I've lived here for 18 years and am being priced our with a salary of $150,000.

I live in these old districts, you speak of. I live in Northwood. And nobody’s buying a house and these districts for under $1 million. L O L and the gated communities and condos charged so much in fees you could expect your monthly payment to almost double.year after year Florida condos are no longer a good idea. The condo fees were out of this world. The good times are over. And in traffic is similar to Los Angeles these days.

hello as a former res of wpb all I can say is have plenty of $$ if you want to live there! what you save in taxes you'll spend it on everything else! crime is high also (there are certain city's & parts of town to avoid!) pb county is overpopulated so watch your back and prepare to wait in line!

I moved to West Palm Beach in 2020, WPB has a nice downtown!

Jonathan, how far do you agree or disagree with people like Jerry Pinkas who see the condo and real estate situation in South Florida facing collapse because of the stronger requirements for reserve funds, increased taxes, congestion and the inability of infrastructure to keep up with population influx, etc.? And the recent increase of movement from southern Florida to the Carolinas?

I agree with a lot of what Jerry Pinkas says but I feel just like Michael Bordenaro they exaggerate the data and news for their gain because people love negativity and gravitate towards videos that are all doom and gloom. That’s how both their channels exploded. With that being said, the condo market here is in a very tough situation due to insurance, assessments and lack of reserves. The single family and townhome market is holding up better and right now it’s a beauty pageant and bidding war.. only the best looking and best priced homes are selling. All the rest is sitting and reducing their prices. Florida to the Carolinas has always been a thing so nothing new there.

If I were still a palm beach county resident (Riviera Beach) I would support Rick Bradshaw sheriff palm beach county.

There's definitely hood parts in almost every South Florida city (especially large cities) and many times those neighborhoods surround wealthy areas with mega mansions. Driving around and seeing for yourself is your best bet. Thanks for watching!

Tampa is in Hillsborough County, not Lee County.. Ft Myers/Cape Coral are in Lee County.

West palm beach is already starting to become expensive to live. I do not believe there no affordable places in west palm beach. I am born and raised from Miami but I lived in west palm beach. The next couple of years is going to be horrible to live in South Florida. Everyone had their different opinions about west palm beach but honestly I do believe there better places than west palm beach and Florida. There is not a lot of job opportunities in west palm beach to be honest.

To live in places like South Florida you need to make a great stable income and there is no affordable housing I been in South Florida my whole life I have not seen that at all. Their is not a lot of job opportunities in west palm beach with that other experiences. Plus if you are ready to deal with hot weather all year round and if you are ready to deal with hurricane seasons every year then you can move there in Florida but make sure you have good coverage for insurance for your house.

It’s gotten to that point now that South Florida has gotten too expensive for many to live and unfortunately have to move away. There’s hardly any affordable housing and all the new construction is luxury. There are industries that pay well that I mention in my videos but for the most part, I agree with alot of what you said

@@LIVSouthFlorida I agree the housing and rental market is horrible in South Florida. You definitely have to make a great income to afford a great house or at least a decent apartment. Plus it is at least 7,000 a week people are moving to Florida and the traffic is getting more worse. I am guessing in the next couple of years it will be horrible to live in Florida. I am from Miami and I have seen how bad the traffic is getting down there. The housing and rental market is bad down in Miami too.

You’ll need a lot of money to be in a “safe” area. It’s too crazy here. Even nice areas of downtown are full of drug problems and homelessness.

You are in real estate? And you did not know that Tampa is nowhere near Lee County. You did not know Tampa is a Hillsboro county? And Fort Myer is in Lee County. Quite a distance away. The majority West Palm Beach is poor. The cost is extremely high. Nobody moved to West Palm Beach will find an apartment for less than $1500-$2000 a month. I moved here in 2007. I bought a house near the ghetto for $190,000. Today, my house is worth over $500,000. And I’m getting constant offers to buy. Which I will never sell. Because I can ride my bike to the ocean. However, the ghetto is growing. Broadway is as bad as ever. Plenty of drug deals and prostitutes everywhere. You had to be very wealthy to live in West Palm Beach if you want to stay awayfrom the criminal elements the homelessness and the crime. Don’t move to West Palm Beach. Move to the Carolinas.

Two mentions of trump so far. Had to turn off the Video. There has to be so many more interesting things to say about WPB especially bc trump or his golf course aren’t in the City limits of West Palm Beach
