I'm still gutted why Mendy not clearing that pass from Jorginho when he got pressed against west ham player , whether it's corner or throw ball just get it out . And that third goal from west ham , no doubt it's really great goal , but Mendy obviously still can save it . Poor night from Mendy .

From his movement you'd know Mendy thought it was a cross ball and not going to that direction. His mistake was the penalty he caused.

After Werner injury this team lacks speed in the attack, timo may miss chances but his clinical runs and assists are essential for the team. I prefer a frontline consisting of timo,ziyech and mount. ziyech is on fire, the coach should get the best out of him before he gets injured again. another big problem is that this team lacks a stable midfield, if kova and kante returns together then this team will be unstoppable again

You can’t attribute this match loss to him exclusively. Idk why people are overlooking the fact that his pass to Mendy was actually completed and that Mendy could have cleared that ball instead of trying to shield it. Also you cannot blame him for the 2nd and 3rd goal, as that is quite disingenuous. Yes he did cost us two points against utd since it was his fault but u cannot objectively blame him for this result.

Chelsea once again masters of their own downfall but we go again still a long way to go this season. Up the Chels 💙

Good game and ultimately individual errors leading to the loss. Not a good time for Chelsea, clearly missing key players, if it was one or two, Chelsea would manage but we are talking about key players in the same position with Kante and Kovacic out. Then there's Chalobah, Chilwell, and maybe Havertz now. Lukaku has only returned from injury and still not ready to start a full 90 minutes, before that it was Mount and Pulisic. Right now the players are dropping like flies and it is having it's toll on the rest of the team. I also wanted to point out at that as fans of the club are expectations are obviously high, but It was always going to be a huge task for Chelsea to close the gap with Liverpool and City who have been so dominant and consistent in recent seasons, not to mention both Klopp and pep having years to develop the team. If we look at the improvement this club has seen since Tuchel has come in, it is clear that we are on the right track and should be happy with the progress. Hopefully Chelsea can regain some composure and and be a bit more lucky with injuries

True. But we should monitor Mendy's recent performances as well. Huge drop in levels. Tbh he was a big factor in our loss today and our recent instability as well. Chelsea might wanna consider prepping Kepa for a while before Mendy can be back to his best form.

West Ham defended well and depended on counter moves. The goal by Masuaku was a beauty.

Impressed with how Jared Bowen played. No wonder Klopp wants him. Good dribbler and full of energy.

Apparently, chelsea and lukaku are in different pages. That's why i think chelsea should change tactics to get him more involved, same formation but doing something different (example, city uses 4-3-3 but, every season they do something different to their game) and Chelsea is stuck with the tactics of last season

Lukaku has to do more but Tuchel must utilise him properly. It seems unfair to judge him at the moment as he clearly is not match fit. Lukaku is one of the top five number nines in Europe when used correctly. Chelsea fans have to show some patience. It is concerning that he hasn't netted in so long but he is a proven goalscorer and he will show that.

I think Tuchel was unsuccessful in the changes, Ziyech's exit led to a decline in Chelsea's attacking efficiency, Lukaku's entry led to a decline in Mount's level, and Pulisic did not provide anything.

Jorginho is Chelsea's Fred, he is just not good at what he is supposed to do. For the First goal, he should know better than putting Mendy into that position, second time in 2 games.. both in big games

You have lead and then you just slip it... I said in the start of the season if we pull out 2nd place I would be surprised, Tuchel need to get 10 wins in a row to be PL contender, 1st year at Chelsea, he would be wizard if he could win Premier League. We all hope of course, game by game I'm going like Champions League last season, I didn't think of a trophy until the final, I was having mentality "Let's win this, and 2nd leg, let's go through" this is my mentality in this season also! This is why I prefer man city to Chelsea. City style of play is very complete even without a striker they still take charge, dominate and get results regardless of who's injured or not. Chelsea should learn from city. Goodluck to you guys on the EPL title race.
