Wow, I wonder how long they have to work with tapestry before they let you work on larger projects like that. I can't imagine they'd just let anyone work on a group project like that. If just one person is sub-par or works differently then all the sections they worked on would stick out like a sore thumb. From what I saw it was beautiful, consistent work.

I'm curious. If he didn't like a section of it would it be possible for them to remove it without having to remove months of work? Or once its in its in? Does that make sense?

Are there any videos featuring the Tapestry weaving courses? Also where does one buy a tapestry loom?

I want to make a loom, but Ive seen so many, to where you dont swap the warp front to back. So what type exactly are the ones that dont have pedal use and is just a single frame? Can I make a 6' vertical × 4' one on a loom that doesn't interchange the warp threads?

Yes, you can. It's just faster for them to have the front and back warp threads separate using the heddles, but you can pick the threads with your fingers to pass the weft through.

Vertical looms use heddles instead of peddles, which you could just forego if you want to pick strings by hand as the above comment suggests.
