I own the C1 & C4 wrenches, and I've just ordered the A5. Wera tools are the best quality, and will last a lifetime if used and cared for properly.

Just saw a video that shows on the case that the Wera is made in the UK by Norbar!! Is that the case with this model, or is that only for certain other Wera models?

Hi, I’ve just checked mine and it appears they are made in Taiwan! Both my A5 and C3 say Taiwan on the case but nothing I could see on the actual wrench. Quality looks spot on though.

You still liking it 5 months later mate? Looking to get one myself, and it looks really nice. I’m a firm believer in buying a good tool once, instead of a cheap tool 2-3x. Wera looks to be a buy it for life tool if you look after it. What ya reckon though?

Hi, I’m of the same opinion, buy once, perhaps pay more but you’ll have something that lasts. That’s what I believe with the Wera, a tool for life. I’m looking at buying the one between these two in a while. I would not hesitate in recommending this brand and I’m still loving what I have now. Thanks for watching 👍🏽

I'm really considering this over a digital torque wrench, my only problem with this is that it would take a lot of time to dial in to 25nm

I also have a digital torque wrench but find it a bit more fiddly to setup than the manual "twist and you're done" on the Wera.

is a 1/4 square drive better or hex drive? I am trying to choose between Click A5 and A6. I am quite worry on hex getting round off.

Hi, I think its down to personal choice and the normal application you would be using the wrench in. In my case I normally use square drive sockets so 1/4" drive type is ideal for me. If however your choice of tools is the hex then I'd choose the hex drive type. Of course you can get adaptors to convert from one to another but this will add "length" to the tools end which can cause access issues, again job related. If you use good quality hex/sockets/adaptors then either should be fine so long as they are not over torqued. Listen for the click from the wrench. Thanks for the comments and for watching. 👍🏽

Mine came in the black cases you see at the start of the video. I've no reason to think this has changed. The cases do keep the wrench safe.

Is i correct that this one is made in Taiwan?

Yes, it was made in Taiwan, so was my C3. I never checked, I assumed they would have been made in Germany! They still look top notch bits of kit though 👍🏽

Wera wrenches are now made in Taiwan and have not been very accurate on tests.

I thought they were made in Germany until I saw the labels when recording the videos. Let’s hope they’re not too bad.
