Oberyn Martell it was more than that. Long time ticket holders were tired of his complacency and were coming to games in droves calling for ‘Wenger Out’. He should’ve stepped down 3 years earlier.

But the situations are different and mid table is only for rebuild. Hold onto hem lines because we’ll be back up soon ❤️🤍💪

I remember this match so vividly. Arsenal needed a win to advance to the knockout stage and had lost 0-3 at home to Inter (rather unluckily due to 3 counter attacks that netted Inter the victory). This, along with the invincible Liverpool win is Henry's signature match. Great match, great play... how this team only made once to the Champions League final is regrettable.

I don't think so.....the best UCL for arsenal is during 2005/06 season , where they beat Real Madrid , Juventus and Villarreal along the way to reach the final.....

harold Arsenal were out of the FA Cup and League Cup by that point so the Quadruple was already impossible. But you’re right, they definitely shouldn’t have lost to Chelsea in that 2nd leg. At the very least they should have reached the UCL final. Whether they would have beaten Mourinho’s Porto though, is up for debate.

My favouite game as an Arsenal fan. Just look how the whole team celebrates even the 5th goal. A special, special game. And Henry.. he was the best player in the world at that moment, undoubtedly. Simply untouchable.

Inter got great defenders Materazzi and Zanetti. Henry pace is too hot to handle.

Motivation.. none were smilling at the start.. focus..!

I remember the game vividly. Beaten 3 - 0 at home by Inter, only had one point after three games (kinda like Spurs at the moment). This was a must win game for Arsenal. By the end of game six, Arsenal were top of the group, Inter didn't pass the group stage.

On that first goal, the comentator said "You always had a chance when you've got Thierry Henry in your team." On Henry's second goal, he was like, "Steve Bruce said this weekend, he is the best player in the world. Does anybody argue it?" Both Henry's goal celebration were used in PES for around 5 consecutive years at least.

Being an Inter's fan , i remember perfectly this match. Till the min.85 looked much more feasble 2-2 than 1-3. Afterwards the much turn 1-5 , but the team totally gave up once Henry made the 3rd.
