My heart wants to leap out of my chest because I'm so happy for her. I started listening to her when she was on WBLS in NYC. I would sit in my car during my lunch break and drive around in my car after work for hours just so I could hear her whole show. Her work ethic is unparalleled and she was/is able to get information that no other outlet did. She has so many levels. She can be ruthless and then show true compassion. I love the relationship that she has with her son, the tender way they looked at each other. You could see how much they love and would do anything to protect each other. She is truly deserving of every honor.

I disagreed at first then I rewatched towards the end when her son came forward and posed with her... You're so right; the sadness must've been overwhelming as she thought about the part Kev Sr. played in all of this... Wendy was beautiful and confident in spite of...❤

It made me cry. I thought that if Kev hadn't been so stupid, there would have been three people up there: Wendy, Big Kev and Young Kev. However, I was so glad her nephew was there too, showing his support. Wendy is definitely a family person.
