No, Nneka said she knows of Wendy and that they run in overlapping circles. Bravo/production approached Nneka to be on the show (or any show, she was living in LA when she was initially approached), she was hired, then ahead of filming, Nneka tried to meet for dinner with Wendy because they were going to be on the show together. That's when Wendy got insecure and started trying to sabotage Nneka's role in the show.

It’s baffling how comfortable not only the producers but the fans getting comfortable with open colorism, open attacking the same kind of WOMEN and people going to sit and pretend theirs not a certain pattern. Wendy need to continue to be successful, beautiful dark skin woman and proud, looks like she has a loving family unlike some of these bitter women who husbands can’t stop cheating and embarrassing them. When you’re educated, beautiful and have what other women want they will always attack you. SPOKE NOTHING BUT FACTS!!! Also, this is the second week where I’ve fallen asleep watching Potomac. I woke up & saw that this was the only part of the episode that was “interesting”. Some of these women are ignorant, insensitive, bitter, jealous and openly ignorant and colorist. What’s funny is that if they (the Green-eyed Bandits, Ashley, Mia, and Nneka) were on a primarily white franchise or if RHOP added a couple of white women who had strong personalities to treat them like shit on here, they would be in an uproar, especially if they were Team Candiace and Wendy! Gizelle, Mia, Nneka, and sometimes Ashley act as if they aren’t black women themselves so how they treat Candice and xWendy has always been problematic to me & after this season, I’ll move on to watching something else. I’m ready to see Kiana literally drag Sesame Street at the end of the season, and I’m ready to see the reunion & that’s it. I think that Wendy should indeed keep her head up and keep being the fabulous Diva that she is! They can’t stand her, because they can’t take her! I don’t understand why they come for her continuously, because she gets them together EVERY season!

It's not clout chasing though, Bravo wanted Nneka on a show for awhile now. That's what the reference to LA was about. She wasn't even living in Potomac when Bravo was trying to get her on and hire her. Once she was hired, she asked Wendy to have dinner before they started filming. That's when all the clout chasing stuff happened. Nneka wanted to meet before.and Wendy/her family took it as clout chasing. But how do you chase clout when you already have the job?

It's so interesting how these shows always have the same fate...the cast starts becoming too self-aware, along with the producers who go for contrived storylines, and then the show becomes stale and redundant.
