This is hilarious . I was actually the cameraman in this interview, and even I had the tears in my eyes from laughing . I was standing behind Donny, and you could almost hear something snapping in his head that turned him form irritated into uncontrollable laughing. It was always great to do those Ushi interviews, and this one and the interview with the Weather girls were absolutely the best and historical. It's so good to see it back again , and again I have the tears in my eyes. I was even in the shot for a moment, realizing that I had still had hair at that moment.😂😂

@@vanomso Yes they were sweet , but a lot was cut out. The whole interview was hilarious and chaotic and the mother was repeatedly saying," I've been there girl" because it seems that interviews in Japan can be like this. At one time she even walked away, her manager had to get her back. And in the end it took minutes before she realized what was going on, because she kept looking at the picture and Ushi was already transformed to Wendy again for quite a time..

😆 Vlak na dé 2 vragen, net voordat ze de volgende stelt, kun je ineens Wendy horen lachen. Buiten beeld, top gedaan 😅👍 Iedere BN'er zou dán instant gezegd hebben "hey, van Dijk !" Dat het Donny niet opviel is logisch...

Donny told Wendy, this wil me never me happend again...after 20 years she got Donny for the second time.

You should know that all of Wendy's victims have met her one or two days prior to this prank. Wendy is a well-known tv-personality, and in that capacity managed to get a (so-called) press-photo with her and her mark-to-be. That's how Donny instantly knew who was on the photo next to him, and now in front of him.

Donny Osmond was a great sport and a perfect gentleman.

Donny was so calm and patient. Then he totally lost it and could not contain himself and started laughing uncontrollably. Wow!

Oh gosh, I miss this show, it's hilarious. Wendy was soooo good. You should watch the one with Larry Hagman. She kept calling him Harry Lagman.

the fun thing about Ushi is that due to the role all these people were very open in anwsering anything

Used to love watching this show, so of course I've seen it but no matter how many times you see it, it always extremely funny. But watching it now, in combination with that look on your face and your laughter, I was in stitches 🤣 my stomach aches 😂😂

Wendy started out with pranking Dutch colleagues. Even people that she knew personally well. That was a blast. But you can imagine that after one season she could not pull this off anymore. Therefore, she changed to international celebrities. Later she also had other characters which she used with Dutch colleagues. And she pulled it off again.

Can't believe you digged this up. I remember being totally in stitches seeing this episode of Ushi. She was the best. Thanks' so much and you had me in stitches about yourselves being in stitches. You made my evening!

I have her dvd’s. She is a SCREAM! and Donny Osmond was the best. The whole idea is to keep the interviewee on the wrong foot, confused and in a daze. She is very good at it.

You should watch the Ushi interview with George Wallace too. Donnie asked them to do the interview with George so he could prank George and was hiding in the bathroom, sitting on the toilet, during the whole interview.

The big fun is, when the interviewed person finally realises s/he got had :D Ohh damn you don'y have such buckteeth, or black hair. That moment, makes it worthwhile all the time, everytime. LOL, ofcourse he wants to say something. What makes him mad in life ? Up to that point the answer is simple enough: "This interview." She always gets people to do stuff, and they never until the end figure out it was all a practical joke.

It is humor and like theater and dressing up and this the way she can get away with like not thinking she is a dutch woman. It not meant offensive i hope no one does. It is a made up character. I love it when people portray dutch people and make fun of them. I also make fun of myself to make stuff light in this world. Humor is important! I respect everyone let's laugh together❤ and the best part is she understands everything 😂 so really good to confuse the whole situation. Wendy van Dijk was good 😂
