Maybe once they can get it right, it's shocking how some of these clowns still can't get an order correct when they are being given a simple single number order. Yea I'll take a number 5 Typical fast food employee - " no here is your order- Opens bag looks it, well once again this isn't a number 5 but came sorta close I'll just eat it.

Nearly every American can make a burger! We don't need Wendy's. We can make fries and let ice cream half melt and stir into a frosty!

Adios Wendy's. This type of pricing is simply ridiculous and proves poor customer relations.

It's a misnomer to call this "surge pricing" or even "dynamic pricing." We already have a perfectly good English term for this, it's called "price gouging."

You silly spoiled clowns don't understand what price gouging is, Price gouging can only occur on items of necessity, you having prepared food from a restaurant is not considered a necessity. God we have had it so good in this nation for so long we have a generation of spoiled children who think that them getting their fast food from a restaurant is the equivalent to say a gas station charging a 400 percent mark up after a hurricane

Huh? Wait wait you are saying they have been fooling you? That you lacked the capability to understand what the costs of what u ordered would be when you ordered it? Now I'm no rocket scientist, but I'm able to under the current price of a fast food item at the time I go to order it. Now if you are not, I would blame whomever educated you and not Wendy's. Maybe you should ask for thr price of what you want before you order it, then it won't be so tricky for you

It’s just corporate greed. I used to work at Walmart before the self checkout. They lied saying it would free up cashiers so they can help customers. Soon after the meeting I quit, went back couple months later and half the employees were gone. Now people are stealing like crazy since then. Funny

Probably not. At least with Lyft/Uber the driver benefits during surge.

People will just stop eating at these places, then watch the prices come down big time,if they still don't drop prices well, they will just price themselves right out of business, simple.

With the Pandemic I started cooking at home, and started saving a ton of money. Now when we go out to eat I'm astounded by how greedy these corporations have gotten. I go to the grocery store, ingredients for the most part have stayed pretty much the same, and wages haven't gone up in a long while with the anti-working class fed at the helm. So the only excuse is greed. Do yourself a favor, instead of buying these god awful burgers filled with trans fats and everything they can scrape from under the fridge, cook your own food, it tastes better, isn't made by a resentful teenager, and is waaaaay cheaper.

Fast food is called that for a reason though. I agree people should make their own burger, I mean, it's a burger, but it's about convenience. Or really, you have to resort to it sometimes.

Started packing my lunch agian. Went from spending $15-$20 day to about $3-$4 a day. Never going back.

McDonalds is $18 for their burger meal which includes a hamburger small fries and a small drink. it was less than $10 about 2 months ago.

I predict there won't be any demand at all in that store as soon as people find out about dynamic pricing.

Its already too high. North of Boston, a Dave's Single and 2 fries is $15. This has been for 6 months.

They're just trying to figure out their prices. Just stopped going to Wendy's until they figure out a set price. And then decide if you want to pay it. You can't decide if you want to pay a price, if you don't know the price 🤷🏼‍♂️

This is the worst idea ever. UBER DOES NOT RAISE PRICING BASED ON VOLUME. Surge pricing is based on the number of available drivers vs. the number of requested rides. If their algorithm determines that there are not enough drivers on the road, they raise rates to incentivize more drivers to get on the road. There is a PURPOSE to surge pricing for Uber and Lift. For Wendy's there is NO REASON. So I will NEVER go to Wendy's again. It is the most outrageous thing I have ever heard.

The CEO is more concerned with his bonus program than he is the bottom line of the company.

I think the way to handle this is to pull up to the drive through menu during the lunch rush, and then let them know you'll be happy to just wait there until the rush is over and the prices come back down.

The high cost of Fast Food is helping me in my journey to lose weight... not that I ate it all the time, but now even less than before. Seriously, the last time I ate a Subway... my Chicken Bacon Ranch Sub came to $17 Canadian, After that I haven't been back.

The easiest way to stop the price surges, is to make sure there aren't enough people going into Wendy's to cause surges.

i do not eat at fast food crap holes anymore,the food at all of them is terrible and i simply refuse to spend that kind of cash for garbage food

I used to work in construction and had to make trips to the landfill. I think most people will never visit a landfill; it's mountains and mountains of garbage. Maybe the plan is to make things so expensive that we'll stop buying excess useless garbage we don't need. BTW, there's over a billion more people, producing more trash, today than my blue collar working days. It's not sustainable.

I know people younger than I on BP meds and dialysis due to poor eating. I know I'm going to die 1 day, but I'm not trying to rush it by abusing my body.
