She lived life on her terms and she left life on her terms.

She reminds me of one of my childhood friend's mom. She was a single mom of two boys, survived an abusive spouse- he was a drug/alcohol abusing a-hole, he even hit me one time while I was there playing with my friend (I kicked him in the nuts and ran, haha). Anyway my friend's mom was a heavy smoker, and she looked and sounded rough but she was an angel. When we were kids she used to sunbathe naked in the back yard (awkward), which faced a big cornfield (they lived in the country). She drove a camero with t-tops, had a 57' nomad stored in the garage. She was the fun mom in our bunch of friends. They were around until about the 5th grade and then they moved to the city. I caught up with my friend on facebook several years ago, and learned she had died of breast cancer in the early 2000's. His dad ended up in prison in the 80's and is still there for beating another man to death....good place for that asshole, lol.

Let me tell you depression is a terrible thing! Easy to judge until you go through it yourself!! Just too bad she didn't get help before it was too late!!!
