I'm org. from the BIG city of Berry, Alabama. I used to watch her on Country Boy Eddie every morning playing the banjo. That girl sure could play !!! I was not aware of her passing till today. What a great loss. ROLL TIDE !!!

I am amazed by this performance....she was only playing for one year at this point? Wowee....what a gift.

I am sorry to hear of her passing. I love Jerry and I loved Hee Haw, too. Roy Clark was very happy to play alongside her.

Mom and Dad watched a lot of Country music on TV and I remember Wendy playing .

She use to come on an early morning country music show when I was growing up

She's got that Grandpa Jones strut when she plays.

I've loved Wendy ever since I first seen her on Nashville on the road, then I had the pleasure of meeting her in Benton Illinois in the mid 70s. Then I found out she and I was born the same year, the I found out she had died in the 80s.

Shows special for sure, and talented, she's still missed

Just unreal! As a side note, she kind've reminds me of Nellie Olson here. Incredible talent!
