Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Amazon link: amzn.to/36kBJgF
Dual fuel design runs on both gasoline (4000 surge watts, 3200 rated watts) and propane (3200 surge watts, 2900 rated watts)
Auto Fuel Selection Technology automatically switches from propane to gasoline for longer run times
EPA III and CARB compliant 212cc engine provides extremely quiet operation (58 dBA at quarter load, 22 feet)
Fuel shutoff maximizes the generator’s lifespan by using up the remaining fuel in the carburetor before shutting down
Produces clean power to prevent damage to sensitive electronics such as smart phones, tablets and laptops
Includes two three-prong 120V receptacles, one RV-ready AC 120V NEMA TT-30R receptacle, one 12V DC receptacle, one 5V USB port, a digital load and fuel display, and a two-year warranty
Remember when you had clean and quiet portable power? The WEN 4000 Watt Dual Fuel Inverter Generator produces clean energy free of voltage spikes and drops without making all of the noise of a regular generator. Generate up to 4000 surge watts and 3200 rated watts of power on gasoline, or connect a propane tank for 3200 surge watts and 2900 running watts of power on LPG. Our 212cc 4-stroke air-cooled OHV engine operates at an extremely quiet 58 decibels at quarter load, about as quiet as a window air conditioner or the average conversation. This limits its invasiveness while hunting, camping, tailgating and restoring back-up power. Our unique Auto Fuel Selection Technology automatically switches from propane to gasoline for longer run times with limited hassle. The WEN 4000W Inverter Generator is also equipped with fuel shutoff. This feature turns off the flow of fuel, allowing the generator to use up the remaining fuel from the carburetor before automatically shutting down. This helps fight the build-up and blockages caused by stagnant fuel inside of the carburetor, minimizing maintenance while prolonging the unit’s lifespan. Designed to mirror a pure sine wave, this generator limits total harmonic distortion to under 0.3 percent at no load and under 1.2 percent at full load, making it safe enough to run laptops, cellphones, monitors, tablets and other vulnerable electronics. The lightweight design along with the built-in wheels and folding handle make for easy portability while the ultra-efficient 2.2-gallon tank provides over 8.5 hours of half-load run time.
Our fully-packed panel comes equipped with two 3-prong 120V standard household receptacles, one RV-ready AC 120V 30A NEMA TT-30R receptacle, one 12V DC receptacle, two 5V USB ports and an easy-to-read digital fuel and load display. Maximize fuel economy by engaging the Eco-Mode switch. This feature allows the generator's engine to automatically adjust its fuel consumption as items are plugged into and unplugged from the panel, preventing the usage of unnecessary gasoline. The oil access cover makes for easy oil changes. Need more energy? Easily link up two WEN inverter generators using a WEN Parallel Connection Kit (sold separately) in order to share wattage between multiple units. Low-oil and low-fuel automatic shutdown, indication lights, and overload protection safeguard both your generator and your electronics from damage. The included spark arrestor allows for legal use in national parks and campgrounds. And because this is a WEN Product, your inverter generator comes backed by a 2-year warranty, a nationwide network of skilled service technicians and a friendly customer helpline.

Great review Gavin. Having a dual fuel is just so much nicer. Gives you the option to do both gas and propane. Plus people have to realize if there’s ever a power failure fuel pumps won’t be able to work, so the propane will come in handy. Plus you can keep propane in tanks for a long while and they won’t go bad, compared to keeping gasoline around. 👍. Thanks buddy.

I have this generator and was just checking out some videos again after doing some maintenance. Great vid but one thing to take note of, the manual states on page 12: "To remove the mounting plates: 1. With the help of another person, place generator on an elevated platform such as table or workbench. Make sure the generator is stable. Do NOT TILT the generator as there may be remaining oil inside the crankcase from testing." And on page 13: "To add oil, follow these steps: 1. Place the generator on a level surface. Make sure the engine is off before adding or checking oil. CAUTION: Keep the generator level! TILTING the generator to assist in filling will cause oil to flow into the wrong areas of the engine and cause DAMAGE." I'm not a ninny but I thought I would point that out, the manual is pretty adamant about tilting this generator. lol Cheers and thanks again for the review. This generator has been great for me.

@@GeneratorReviews True but apparently there is the "there MAY be remaining oil inside the crankcase from testing." lottery. Looks like there might be some oil in the generator from the factory after all since it appears that they test at least some generators before shipping. (Check out the section of manual about removing the mounting plates on page 12) I'm trying to remember if I've read this in any of my other generator manuals but just thought I would share.

Excellent, thank you!! Definite thumbs up. 20 years I had regular generator for emergency country house backup. Very noisy and noise on the voltage. Gas only. It is problematic keeping gas fresh for backup power. Even with stabil. I ran tank dry. Exercising it every few months is critical when talking 20 years. Some folk say to use recreational gas with zero ethanol to keep fresh longer and less varnish in carb. As Gavin pointed out, this WEN has easy gas shut off for carb draining. (WEN apparently is based in Elgin Illinois). But I desire less hassle of just propane going forth. I heard 30 lb cylinders may be available. This particular brand and model I think wins my purchase. Furnace is modern, DC blower fan, soft start, whole thing under 900W running. Sump pump next critical thing. A fridge and freezer. LED lamps are freebies. Look forward to safe use of clean sine wave power of an inverter type. The risk of someone hacking our power grid pushes me to get this unit. If it were interrupted, there would be a run on generators fast, none available. Best to be prepared. I’ve read others saying 5 hour break in and on gas for topside lubrication, and use a magnetic dipstick to catch metal particles. No one says where to buy a magnetic dipstick. Maybe Auto Parts store? Gavin, pointed out a filter. Air filter?? Or would it actually have an oil filter?? This looks like exactly what I need. Only possible carp, that electronic display is said to be dark, hard to read in daylight. Thanks much Mr. Gavin!!

@@nimrodpaul6875 You can split off before the regulator right at the big propane tank. For a given temperature, the pressure in your big 500 gallon tank is the same as the pressure in a little 20# tank so come off pre regulator and then go to the regulator on your generator. I attached to my vapor equalization connection on the big tank with a MEC ME141 Acme Vapor Coupling, Brass, 1-1/4 in. F.Acme x 1/2 in. MNPT adapter (I got mine at DK hardware). This vapor valve is not the emergency over pressure valve and it contains a safety valve that will close if a huge amount of LP tries to exit. i went from the ME141 to a BBQ hose adapter and then to my generator regulator. This is a connect as needed setup. You might have to put a little heat into your generator regulator if you propane tank is hot from direct sunlight (higher pressure so the regulator will start to freeze up).

Good afternoon to you! I was not aware of the 4000w dual fuel capability by Wen. Wow. Firstly, this model seems awesomely quiet! Yes...I know when listening to a recording online, that can be skewed. But, it really seems almost as quiet as even the smaller 2-2.5kw options. That is great. For these Wens, I originally saw videos on the 3800w gas generators. I really liked them as they have just about every feature that I'd want. My only objection is the 100lb weight. I then had a friend highlight the GN400i Wen option. It's a 4kw option that only weighs like 66lbs without fuel. I will be looking for a noise level video for those as they seem definitely a notch noisier. And then you highlight the model in this video! Again, it has all of the options that I'd like except for the 100lb weight. And, it is dual fuel......and pretty quiet. Great work sir!! I really like your reviews and comparisons! PS. And...I'd love to walk in your grass barefooted!!

The DF400i 2.2 gallons fuel capacity, can run for around 8.5 hours at 50% load with a full tank filled with gasoline (fuel consumption around 0.26 GPH). If propane is used, it can operate for around 9 hours (on a 20 lbs tank - propane consumption around 0.52 GPH).

Gavin, could you tell me the difference between an inverter generator and a regular alternating current generator? I always thought an inverter generator is a generator from an alternating current to a steady current also known as a direct current. Is that correct?

Inverter generators put out the same power that comes out your wall from the grid, pure sine wave. Construction type modified sine wave generators you’re risking overheating electrical systems like refrigerators computers cell phones and computers. Unless you’re running ceiling fans motors I would always get an inverter generator from my house or RV.

Gavin, have you ever heard of a generator that is producing a direct current for a camper that uses only direct current?

@@GeneratorReviews One more question, do you have any clue what thread size the propane inlet is? Looking possibly at an extension for the propane hose. Thanks again!
