    Captures the charm so well and the beat of the Earl & Countess double heading the 3 replica coaches against that wistful wooded backdrop is pure bliss.

    Also Dougal was built by Andrew Barclay of Kilmarnock as they built engines for both narrow and normal railways

    Those little Beyer Peacock tanks make a very nice sound, don't they. Dougal does look as if it'd more at home on about 7¼" gauge, though, doesn't it.

    G.C.G.D. stand for GLASGOW CORPORATION GAS DEPARTMENT. PROVAN WORKS was built in the early 1900s.
