Last time I went on this, prob about 25 years ago, one of the carriages derailed 3 times and we all had to get out and re-rail it. 😁 Quite memorable

Glad the music desisted half way through. Some thought might be given to reducing it at other times - the music of the loco is charming.

Yes... because obviously The Titfield Thunderbolt would have been so much better if George Auric had desisted and let the music of 'Lion' do the work alone...

Rather beautiful l always wished they would have Imported a 2 feet 6 Inch gauge Garratt fron Sierra Leone, Africa.

They do have a loco from Sierra Leone though, it’s almost like an American design
