Last time I tried that, I got pull to the AP room for going too slowly stocking shelves and was given a poor performance for a whole year. Your grocery store must love your employees, I’m jealous.

@@coleblove2133 Moving faster is something I never consider for the 2+ years I worked for Walmart. Thank you for wise sage wisdom ascended wizard you bestowed upon me. Disregarding the unrealistic time expectations of stocking a 6 meter in 25 minutes, breaking down boxes at the speed of light and when face with overstock it’s considered CAP 2 fault. The obvious answer was to simply “work faster” you absolute genius.
the only issue is its very time consuming. unless you have the speed then it takes too long to ensure it all looks perfect like that. But I sure do admire it; I love when its perfect like that. So aesthetically pleasing. Everything in its proper place. I love how the light glints off everything.
Problem is co-workers stupid and when stocking the shelf will throw things onto the shelf and destroy all your hard work in one quick motion.

or the customers falcon punch the shelves when grabbing 1 item
That was my very first job I did when I started working at Woolworths back in 1992. Everything had to be faced up properly and stock had to be rotated. This man is a perfectionist and I give him credit for this. Great work.
When he's on vaccation it must look like a disaster
The shelf levels are aligned optimally for this sort of face up. It's a lot harder to do this when the shelves are spaced further apart as the bags are loose. Most chip sections in other stores around the world are not like the one at the store shown here. His work is beautiful
I unsuspectedly entered this supermarket a few weeks ago and my jaw completely dropped when I saw how tidy the produce was, (I work nightfill at a different supermarket). As we walked around the store and saw the long-life products, I was completely speechless. I was in my OCD heaven 🤩
OK, now that's a hard section to look good. 10/10
I just spent 8 hours stocking the shelves on nightfill, I love my job it is very satisfying to stock all the isles!

How many boxes would you say u cut most nights...For me it's around 200-250 boxes a night.
@BornAgainOneHope

@@CalvinBiefeld That’s a decent size load right there. I have the can aisle at my store and have around that most nights but will also have around 280-330 unit trucks as well. Those size trucks are fun to try to get done. Of course the eight hour shift (plus overtime sometimes) time frame does not account for stocking alone as other tasks must be completed such as: Working backstock Checking numbers (inventory) Breaking down/separating the truck Facing/conditioning the aisle. Those three sections alone can account for 2 to 2 1/2 hours of my shift give or take. In other words you don’t purely stock a single aisle for the whole eight hours. We’ve been short handed ever since the pandemic started-a long time to be short-handed-so it’s a very tall order to maintain this standard of consistency night in and night out without eventually becoming burnt out. That’s what I strive to avoid so I can do better at my job.

lol they would say thats wasting time. I find organizing so satisfying though I know exactly what he means! Good on him for moving up to managment, he deserves it!
I wish my store here in the US looked even .0001% this good. We could close our store down for two months just to fix the shelves and still not look so nice. Severe understaffing and employees who don't care are the problems. It can take me literally two 8-hour shifts to fix one aisle.
So thats why 40% of my chips are broken when i open the bag.
I wish my isle looked like this, but it's hard when ur boss puts 3 people working on Saturday noon (one on deli and one on main register) and I am responsible for every single isle, fruit, and veggies isle, running to help on register, i don't have even time to eat, we aren't even allowed to go to our 30 min lunch break, break is max. 10 mins... and my boss always watches cameras, just screaming at us next day for not getting all work done. We also have to clean the whole store, take care for trashes...and we stay 1 hour after closing to make store look nice, and brining everything to front... I just just quit this job. I am everyday on verge of crying.. plus rude customers... :) what a fun world to live in
US stores do not have time for this. He'd be fired immediately.
Im a supermarket worker, I wish we had the budget to have a guy dressing all the time...
This is so soothing 😍😍😍
That's so satisfying. Oh My gosh. So perfectly stored. Feels so good. But at the end, I got triggered. Lol
Even though I am the slowest where I work, OCD definitely takes it's toll on me and I even get an apology from customers from time to time. Or just a compliment like "This isle just looks so nice I hate to ruin it."

@Tim Franklin
I dont understand this is incredibly easy. I work at Piggly Wiggly and I have only started working there for a month so far. I'd like to know how he deals with the inconvenient side of fronting though, for me i always have a hard time with cans that don't have a rounded edge top because if you even breath on it it will just fall right off the can you put it on top of, It's like fucking playing Jenga with yourself and you're losing. Plus you could have a perfectly straight shelf of stuff but if the total width of all the items aren't either the same or less than the width of the shelf then you either have gaps or you've got cans or other stuff that has a single item that isn't quite perfectly at the edge of the shelf. Everyone including my supervisors/managers tells me im doing a great job but I'm a perfectionist and this shit pisses me off.😖
@ToastGreeting

You can only understand if you aren't seeing it in the perspective of a person who does the same thing. The spacing between shelves makes it easy for the guy in the video, he can do it fast and efficiently. At many other stores, this wouldn't be possible, you'd have to spend your entire shift getting the bags to stand up right and next to each other since there wouldn't be an option to wedge them between the top and bottom of the shelf, then customers taking them or the product getting restocked would ruin the look entirely, unlike at the store shown in video
