Well this was unexpected! 3 days in….TOW TRUCK CALLED!!!!!

Well….3 days into our trip and the clutch decides to go. Not how we envisioned our lap starting….

Hi Guys I am just catching up on your videos and I am really enjoying them, the set of your patrol was very interesting and it showed how much work you have both put into your setup. Considering that you have just started your videos they are very good quality and interesting. All the best and safe travels.

Ha guys loved the video. Don’t be hard on yourself, I live in Adelaide and have done that run a few times and have been bogged more than once. If you don’t mind me saying if the sand is super soft throw it in low range you might still get bogged but a bit easier on the clutch. Awesome work guys.

@@twoandaus ah bugger. I did a clutch down there too many years ago. Was on its way but one of the beaches finished it off 😊

Great content, good to see that you're still enjoying your selves. Done that beach run several times and would never ever do it alone so many 4x4s been taken over the years by the ocean. Keep up the great work

Great video. I hope you keep filming and posting. That looked like the worst sand where you got bogged. A bit a damp and marshy there close to the water. It's slippery and you go straight down. Not sure what you put your tyres on but in that situation you could go to 12 or 10.

For sand that soft you want to be bagging your tyres out big time. 10 - 12 PSI is good. I reckon those tyres looked to be 20PSI or something. Are you running 35" tyres? For touring you'd be much better off with 33"s. Narrow and tall is a better profile than fat. Smaller tyres will make it easier on your clutch too.

I just found your channel and wondered what actual tyre pressure you dropped to since they didn't look very low. Also.... it's OK to reverse after going forward a bit or dig some more. Very stressful I know with the tide splashing you.... happy trails!!!

Hey mate!! Definitely not low enough!! Kev was worried the bead may come off if we went too low as the car is super heavy! We had them around 18 psi. Thanks for the support 🙌🏼

Hi guys, bit of a rough start to the trip, but sounds like you done the right thing with the roadside assist good move. Maybe low range would have worked better it looked like you were in high range? Not that im a 4x4 expert. Anyway hope things go well for you guys, I’ll follow your journey 🍺🤙🏽
