Shane you will be happy to know that you can buy a bottle of liquid rust remover from any hardware or spares shop. Spray it onto the surface rust spots in the engine bay, let it sit and then use a toothbrush to scrub off and then rinse. Make sure to use a polish/wax after to protect the paint

Doing a conversion on a car neat as this would be a insult to the car community. The ideal plan with the previous Dseries we had, was to do a b16 swap. If we dont find a neat b16 Civic. We would probably build one in the future with a diff chassis
