Eve Bunting wrote a powerful short story called Terrible Things about the Holocaust. I taught that to my high school students so she was very much a storyteller for all.

The big piece with their hands up were on a swing. The rope was missing.

The people holding their hands up where originally hold the rope of a swing and the glass Apple with the hole is for succulents. They are beautiful when planted up.

My sister gave me an Empoli bottle exactly like that blue "fruit basket" bottle at 10:50, about 30 years ago. But the tops to those bottles evidently get damaged SO easily - I just did a quick search on ebay, and of those I found, every single one for sale was missing the top! So it looks like a reasonably good deal since the top appears to be intact!!

You got some beautiful glass pieces at Black Rose😊...and that pink spaghetti elephant is adorable

I LOVE vintage postcards. I started collecting them some years back. I frame them as small gifts...they fit perfectly in 4x6 frames. I have all seasons and holidays, in addition to birthdays. I only have one Halloween one, but I do look for autumn ones. The older, the better...good condition with handwritten notes on the back. Love the beautiful handwriting, too.

The glass apple is for a terrarium.

As a collector of Imperial Glass, I have yet to come across that color. Great pickup! Thanks for giving Imperial Glass a chance! ❤

I have a decanter and glasses that color. When I found it I ran to the check out bought it, took it to the car, went back in and continued to shop. I was so excited!!!

The ruby cut covered butter dish is an Antique Bohemian Egermann Cut to Clear Hunt Scene from approx. the 1880s. I own a large vase. Generally these pieces can sell high, but they will be all over the place as well...

At 2:27 you picked up a worn old cup that had a chip on it. It is from 1902 US Glass in the Michigan pattern. They designed patterns for the states that existed at the time and made many pieces for the sets. Some were painted but most were clear, some were colored glass. Being from Michigan, I collect that pattern. Nina from Michigan
