For 14 vs 4, S4, means stand unless you have 4 or more cards already, which in that case you hit because the 3:2+ payment if you hit 5 or more cards 21’s nudges hitting in your favour over standing.

No...she took my chip which was for my next hand.
5:31 Coming from someone who is a dealer. Yes the dealer did make a mistake but please putting up your next bet before the hand is totally resolved is problematic. We're human and it can be confusing as seen here. Please just wait the extra 5 seconds and help us avoid the situation totally
