Ive watched numerous welders. No bashing them because they are great, much respect to them, but to see someone jump between so many different skills and materials and the outcome looks like you do it every single day. You make this stuff look easy. Absolutely incredible to watch!

If you can’t be trusted to do the small stuff (like keep your tools organized), how can you be trusted to do the big stuff. Easily the most organized, well thought out and complete work truck I have ever seen. A true professional!

Thanks for taking the time for great truck tour!! Very nice truck & you’ve put a lot of time, effort, into customizing everything. Great to see how organized you keep everything. Been following your channel for a while, always enjoy all videos you do. I think the wildest one was you were welding a leaking fuel tank. Thanks for sharing all different things you do.

Oh Sure, a freaking truck tour. I cannot believe I just watched a 50 minute video on your truck.! I was completely fascinated with everything that is on that truck and how much is on it… It actually took that length of time to glaze over everything without going into fine detail. Never dull moment with “On Fire Welding!

Well Greg, I suppose this is the nicest and most well equipped welding rig I’ve ever seen. I am one who believes that organization really increases productivity, and is so much safer also. Kudos on a fine rig, and well equipped for field work. Being as I am near retirement, and hope to do a side hustle, I hope to be able to set up a rig for what I plan to do, that works well for me. I really appreciate you making these videos…they are the best on youtube IMO. Blessings!

Outstanding 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Only things I'd add: -12x40-ish bench lathe up top, and perhaps a small mill -Selection of threaded rod -Heavy welding table that fits in the bed you can hoist out when you need it And maybe a nice 30 foot camper to pull behind it because I'd wanna live next to that truck. 😀 Seriously man.. that's basically a whole metal shop on wheels. Well done.

Awesome truck tour your truck is very well set up for your kind of work. I have a Stellar service body on my work truck and love it. I also dislike how the the cabinet handles hit the other door when they are both open, so what I do after opening up the door is I fold the handle down in the unlatched position and it still allows you to close the doors. Thank you for taking the time to show us a look into your world.

Awesome truck! I used to be a truck upfitter and this would definitely be a more complex build- id estimate between and the cabinets wiring, hoses etc it would probably take me around 3 weeks of labor to go from bare standard truck to all the cabinets crane and everything all done and rolling. Very cool stuff!

Very nicely equipped service rig! Great layout of tools and equipment. I didn't see gear pullers and bearing splitters but I'm sure they were in there somewhere. Love all the utility lines -air, power, etc - plumbed out to spools and ready to go. I like having an assortment of 1-6" long aluminum flat bar scraps from 1/8" x 3/4" up to 3/4" x 1 1/2" on hand for clamping and fitting as well as some flat sheet shims from 1/16 down to .030. Will have to tune into more of your channel and watch you work a few jobs to see the rig in action. Also look forward to seeing a mini lathe mounted up there on top. Could see that being very useful.

While watching some of your field videos where you're on the ground and looking at your truck, I was wondering if you had an on board shower! your future plans to add a water tank would be great when you get dusty. Hi Greg, thank you for taking the time to do a Service Truck tour. A couple of things occurred to me that you might want to consider. Labelling for every drawer and cupboard and have a list on the inside of each door. Secondly, picnic rugs or ground sheets to lay out beneath each cupboard so that as you are going through things and having to pull them out to get to what's at the back, you can put the items down onto the ground sheet to firstly stop them from getting lost or misplaced and secondly to keep all of the boxes and bags as clean as possible so that you aren't getting as much dirt or mud or tip muck inside your cupboards. It's a lot easier to just hose down a ground sheet than it is to clean individual tool boxes. On the subject of a mini lathe, from what I have seen, the majority of mini lathes are not worth considering for industrial applications. You would probably have to look at a smaller standard lathe, but would that be strong enough for the kinds of steels that you work with? Then there is the question of protecting the lathe from the elements and from travel vibrations and jolts? Your call. I also had a question about the void space under the upper deck. Could that space be used for storing your 'get out of jail' supplies of steel and cribbing timbers? Mark from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺 Carpenter and sometime welder.

  • @OFW
