Leather gloves + leader aprons..not.plastic gloves...welding shields not just glasses as arc welding light ,glasses won't block the light and the Sparks will burn you without shield.

Excellent effort by a self taught welder to teach other enthusiasts. Safety protocols can use some work though. Among other things pointed out in comments above, welding must not be done on a plywood surface or other surfaces prone to catching fire
