When R&B/Jazz singer Asami joined LOVEBITES, the members weren't looking for a typical metal singer's singing style. "A FROZEN SERENADE" is a song written and composed by Asami with the cooperation of Mao, the only outside collaborator since the establishment of LOVEBITES. There is another masterpiece called "Epilogue" in the work by these two people.

Great reaction. I am 78 and have grown up with rock and roll since the mid-1950s and cannot ever recall crying to any song,, however every time I listen to/watch and hear Lovebites play 'Epilogue' I always cry. Same thing with 'Frozen Serenade' when the piano and acoustic guitar come in and parts of 'Swan Song' and 'Empty Daydream''.too.

For me, all Lovebites songs have a problem. Like this beautiful one. All of them: All songs I listen from Lovebites, at some time, ends. And that its a shame. They must be a non stop loop song. Forever.

Great reaction! Probably their greatest song. So beautiful. It's a masterpiece. I agree with everything you said, and I'll add, that after that beautiful piana and acoustic guitar part, and the glorious dual guitar harmonies, Asami comes back in with such power and emotion that it is overwhelming. Unbelievable really. I also like how the lyrics change at the end to deliver the message of the song and don't follow typical song structure by repeating lines from the beginning of the song. I love everything about this.

You say every member is perfect and make a complete band. Funny, I was thinking same kind of thing listening this piece. I thought I needed many of myself to follow each musician in this song. Since everybody is doing perfect work here I need to follow each of them simultaneously. I really miss Miho every time I listen to this tune.

Lovebites never disappoints, from beautiful songs like this one to face melters like Set the World on Fire. Since they never disappoint I can just recommend any random song, and the next song on my shuffle playlist is When Destinies Alive (live).

Skills, creativity and exceptional musicianship of these women are beyond belief.

Is it just me, or can anyone else imagine Lovebites being backed up by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra in one massive concert performance? Imagine a Lovebites concert collaborated with the power of the 166 piece Tokyo Philharmonic! 🎉🎉🎉

Their just 'stunning' in every live performance, the singing, musicianship, emotion, stage movement, dress etc. Surely hard practise and discipline. Want more emotional? try out Epiloq 'live' (ballad metal). Great reaction bro👍👍🤘🤘

There may be two dozen masterpieces in the history of rock. “A Day in the Life” by the Beatles; “The End” by the Doors; “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen; “Kashmir” by Led Zeppelin; “Layla” by Derek and the Dominoes; “Starless” by King Crimson; “Ghost Love Score”, by Nightwish… and perhaps a dozen more. Part of what they have in common is gorgeous writing, jedi-level musicianship, and excellent production. But other great songs have those things. What separates the masterpieces from merely great songs, is they tell a story, taking you through a range of emotions until they overwhelm you. Few rock groups have ever produced a masterpiece-even some of the greatest never managed it. Lovebites, in five short years, have given us several. For me this rivals “Swan Song” as their greatest.

Every time you hear another Lovebites' song you are thinking that this song is your favorite. Every time. Now your favorite song is "Frozen Serenade", next time it is "Swan song", next "Holy war"... And so in a circle. This is Lovebites. They are great! Of course you must continue to react to Lovebites songs. :) I suggest you the song "Holy War" if you want a heavier song or you can listen to "Edge of the world", if you want to listen to metal ballad. The term "Masterpiece" is bandied about way too often these days. But this is a 'Modern Day Masterpiece', if there ever was one. When I first heard this song, (some time ago now) the first half didn't sit well with me. Asami's vocals, fantastic as they were, sounded like a different style to the music. Or in a different time signature, or something. I couldn't figure out the disparity in my ears. After the piano & acoustic guitar interlude, the vocal style changed & it all sounded so brilliant. Then after listening to it all again. I got it. BOOM. It all worked for me. So impressed.

You “get it”. You thoroughly understand just how precious this band is. They are unique. As you say, they are ALL gifted. They all perform at a level others can only dream of. I have appointed myself world number one Asami fan. For me she is a female Ronnie James Dio. She is quoted as saying that she tries to sing every single song as if it will be the last one she ever sings. And it’s not a throwaway remark. She pours everything into every song. Not only does she sing with heart and passion, but with her ballet background, she utilises the most majestic arm movements. I literally adore her, and have no shame saying so. If I had to describe her in only one word, that word is *elegant* Welcome to the rest of your life. Lovebites bites hard and deep. Once your theirs, you’re theirs for keeps.

Spot on! LB occupies a niche never done before in the history of R&R. Combining classically trained musicians to perform the artform of heavy metal/R&R at its highest level of perfection conveying highly emotional compositions that are easy to visualize for those that appreciate such music.

Dude - you don't need to apologize for replaying bits, it's totally understandable. When its this good it's totally warranted.
