I was watching yesterday and Barker didn't seem too fussed about the possibility of Danny Jansen going to FA. If he hits 20-25 homers, bats .250 and gets 65 rbi he will command between 12 to 15 million per yr on a four year contract. I don't want to see him go and would like the Jays to sign him now. Heh, maybe he wants out and won't sign Idk. Do we want to be stuck with Kirk, a slower than snail runner dp machine, pound it into the ground, pop up (he stands to far away from the plate and oppo keeps pitching him outside, why wouldn't they) wiz and just ok catcher. Not me..
The biggest thing with Manoah is if you give him money will he fall into the ego trap and not work hard doing more promotionals than training.
