Traffic sucks in LA because it's a city that prioritizes car transportation over any other type, not because we don't have flying cars.

I’d say interesting from 12:45. Even if you don’t know a lot about rockets, you’ve got to acknowledge the fact that a team of 25 to 40 people got together, designed, built and launched a functioning rocket. I imagine they’ll all be with Space X or NASA in a few years.

The flying car thing is a misnomer, most people mean "electric autonomous passenger carrying flying machines." True flying cars will exist but as a niche vehicle, people really want something to bypass the congested ground traffic, some sort of small automated flying craft to pick you up at home and drop you off at work is what we will end up with eventually because that's what the average commuter wants. They will be fast and much safer than ground transportation.

@30:55 "but once money got involved and expectations got in... it just became stupid." Currency is the leading cause of disinterest and absurdity in most aspects of life, not just work, but also play. Our policies in America are both counterproductive and disruptive toward the quality of life for practically all people around the globe. The Federal Reserve Act should be repealed, I think. Thank you for the great video. I like the spirit of the 'eccentrics' and am amazed at the ability of Mr. Hotz to create something so impressive on his own in ANY time frame, let alone in a matter of months. I also sympathize with his view expressed at 30:52 that once other peoples expectations became involved, as Mr. B.B. King would say, 'the thrill is gone'. But, given that he's already endured the wrath of attorneys, he likely has the tenacity to continue.

Perhaps, by other artists. The art community, back then was pretty tightknit community. For example, I am pretty sure that DaVinci and MichaelAngelo were close associates!
