It really does suck that a lot of the other XFL and USFL teams couldn’t make it into the final cut, but hopefully if this merger plays out in the end, we get to see them come back next season or possibly create expansions down the road. To the UFL. May spring football come back stronger than ever

I am happy for this. USFL and XFL as separate leagues is not healthy for either. Now that they have merged, Spring football will become bigger faster. And I hope the innovation that the UFL is bringing to the table forces the NFL from living in their antiquated way of doing things.

@@HovaSwerve Look at how much the XFL lost in travel costs. There's a reason they're all so close together. Its the most efficient way to keep hubs away and actually put teams in front of their home crowds. If the league is successful I see them bringing back at least Seattle in 2-3 seasons.

I absolutely loved watching the XFL last year it was insanely fun watching AJ, the beer snake, the passion and fun these players brought to the table and to see players make it to the NFL this year means it's working! I didn't watch the USFL too much but glad they united! So happy for these players and D Johnson is a perfect ambassador for this league because he lived it, he knows! Great stuff!

They should've done an Orlando team. The Apollos in 2019 did extremely well in ticket sales and marketability. The fan base is here they've shown they can support and sustain the team.

Cannot see expansion to 12 teams if they keep on creating a new football league every 2 years! Hard to sell a product fan base if you keep creating something new were fans don’t get adjusted to the current product.

You knew STL wasn't going anyone. I lived there last year and they love the Battlehawks.

Hate to tell you, but they do not have a big enough budget to rent a place like Soldier Field. It cost the Bears over $6.5 to rent it, but the bears have a huge budget.

I am also all about watching more football, it is obvious that way too many folks are brain washed with only one favorite league. I also follow baseball closely and I enjoy the minor leagues. I know enough that the talent level is not top notch but it's still baseball

Ive been a fan of Spring football since the AAF i think that was 201 8. I wished they could bring in some of those team. I dont know how they would do that. Anyway Im excited for this merger and i hope it becomes successful. I just disappointed they couldnt bring in more teams like Seattle Seadragon, Philadelphia Stars, and the New Orleans Breakers. They did keep my two favorite from each league the Defenders (XFL) and Stallion ( USFL) Im excited and cant wait to see that matchup.

This UFL will be very special. The NFL has already taken notice and will be adopting the XFL kickoff as the new NFL kickoff going forward. Dwayne and his Business Partner (and Yes, ex-wife) Dany have worked wonderfully together to produce something that fans will embrace. “Lunch Pail” Football by Hungry Athletes which All of us can relate to. Excited for the UFL

I praise the two leagues merging to become one organization... that's great! The opportunity I think missed with the merger is the number of franchises. The league should have had started with 12 teams. Pick whatever the additional 4 team that may entail, based on viability, fan/attendance projections, & marketability. Be there as it may, the League could maintain a 10-game season, by dividing the league into Four 3-team divisions, within two conferences already established. Whereas each team plays its divisional rival twice (4 games), home & home, play the other division within its conference (3 games), finally playing one of the other conference's division (3 games), for a total of 10 games. Inter-Conference games can be rotated every two years... in other words for an example: a team from the XFL North can play the USFL North Division one year, play the USFL South Division the next year. Playoffs can either consist of the 4 Divisional Winners... obviously two from each conference, squaring off for their perspective conference championship game. Or include more post-season games for the lagging, summer networks, by implementing an eight-team playoff format, featuring the four division winners & 4 wild cards, two in each conference, seeded 1-4. Personally, I think it would be best to forego conferences & just have the 4 divisions as mentioned before for scheduling & natural rivalry purposes, while seeding the best 4 teams period 1-4 for the League playoffs; or, the league & networks decide to do an eight-team playoffs format, seed the best 8 teams 1-8, to produce the League's champion. However, I realize the founders of the leagues wants to do conferences based on the two rival leagues... just think that's not forward thinking in such a small, new, unestablished league. They have to put the best teams/players to the forefront & avoid having a team with a sub .500 record making the playoffs over a winning team, because they are in the right division. They have to treat the league like a single college conference, 8 or 12 teams (as I propose), & showcase and reward the top teams.

I’m not sure how the playoffs operate, but 10 teams would be nice so each conference could battle for the first seed to get a bye 1st rd of playoffs.

They Combined the XFL and USFL and when they decided the teams, they did not add any market/team West of the Texas. They have 3 TX teams, in an 8 team league, could of added 2 more added them in Vegas, PHX, Seattle or Cali ..js

It's still a lot of players to not feel defeated when they call him to the room and say bring your playbook after you was in training camp with the Cleveland browns or maybe the Detroit Lions and you can go to the UFL and show what you got and still get picked up the opportunity
