I used to live in SD. With all due respect that city isn't that hard, their hoods didn't feel that dangerous. They're trying extremely hard to make it not seem like the paradise it is. I did time in their county jails. Shit never felt dangerous. And I'm saying that as a bay area nigga, who was there for college, with no gang affiliation. That said I vibed well with them out there. They had respect for the part of CA I'm from and showed me love. Not trying to hate on SD that's my favorite part of CA. But the niggas out there just felt a step behind. LA, Oakland, Sacramento, Stockton, shit even parts of Fresno you can sense the danger in the air. SD hoods just felt poor with limited resources. Never gave me the "you shouldn't be here vibe"
