@@glatykoffi6672, do you buy O5 council overseen by ethics committee? They are hiring an outsider to do evaluation while thinking they are of O5. Then Foundation will either ditch them back with a dose of amnesiacs or give them a position because they are a good fit.

@@glatykoffi6672 in lore the O5 has a random civilian within it. This is since the O5 are used to what anomalies are and so they are normalized to it. If a person who isn’t normalized to anomalies is apart of the council then they can instruct the others what is normal and what is not

i'd love to see one where it's been revealed that the O5 council's use of the fountain of youth is what has caused anomalies to continue being created. maybe this could cause a revolution within the ranks of the foundation or even cause the foundation to come under attack from outside groups

Yeah, the ethics committee is a foundation branch that deals with, well, the ethical nature of things, and what is simply unacceptable ethically. They even have their own counterpart to MTF-Alpha One "Red Right Hand" that only listens to the committee, which can even be tasked with ''taking care'' of 05 Council members if they are deemed to have betrayed the foundation's morals, or to have abused anomalies for their own personal gain. (Their MTF team is called MTF-Omega 1 "Law's Left Hand").

I'm pretty sure this is based on the SCP-001 proposal for O5-13, who was explicitly just some guy that was inducted so the Council could get a less biased perspective on what is and is not normal. The fact that there are technically better choices is what they want.
