Johnny has good character if you actually try and engage with the story. He’s a deeply troubled guy with a lot of emotional baggage and the love of his life is a hopeless junkie. He’s endlessly loyal to the crew even though he knows it’s a dying game. I don’t know, I just don’t think Matt gives Johnny enough credit.

Hard to explain because I connect a controller to my tower and drive both my index and middle finger on my right hand. For gas and hand brake immediately. When you treat driving in video games like precision racing IRL, you'll master it. Matto uses Keyboard & Mouse so there's only so much precision. Especially with IV's physics.

Driving physics in this game are WAAAY easier with control. You're looking for precision/Hollywood film driving, that's GTA 5. (V is a satire of Hollywood & Cinema plus the usual satire of American culture) IV is the French Connection driving physics, basically as close to reality as possibility. I know ironic to use Cinema as the explanation and GTA IV also has classic cinema references too, but the French Connection is a realistic car chase. The bikes work the same way, ALL bikes are handbrake heavy. Brakes is the slow down around corners, handbrake is for sharp turns.

who said anything about V? i despise both IV and V as they're poorly made games only for the masses with boring gameplay and terrible hand holding... well, IV may not be that obvious and/or handholding, but it definitely paved the way with how easily you can fail any mission and how you have to play through accordingly, instead of how you want to play it, making both games feel scripted and movie-like if you want to play a good GTA, try VCS, the HD era ones both suck and VI will be even worse than IV's repetitive gameplay and V's handholding combined

You should try manhunt 2
