Hearing a voice that I don't know the origin of frightens me because it's basic instinct to think of the unknown as a threat until proven otherwise. Not that I'm not afraid of stuff I do know. I know that if a bullet were to go through my head I'd die a sad death. Wouldn't make me piss myself any less if someone was holding a gun to my head. But the terror of dying from something I do know doesn't frighten me as much as the mix of fear and curiosity as to what that unknown threat could possibly be.

@@elsewherebruh I'm subbed to disco ballad. JoJo fanbase just isn't as CONSISTENTLY quality relative to it's size. Chainsaw Man community is FAR smaller, but I only ever see great content from it. Unlike JoJo, which has about just as many quality creators but like 20x more shitty a community, with tired jokes, hostile elitist fans, standard reddit shit.

It really captures how the hell can be so creepy and scary..

Only 3 astronauts "truly" died in space. Even then, their bodies were recovered. In my opinion, this represents the astronauts who had died and their bodies were never recovered. These astronauts died within Earth's atmosphere.

What I like about this amazing manga series is that it has perfect blend of many genres like : horror action, surreal horror, comedy, superhero action and monster action. I mean its obvious that the main genre of this series is horror shonen/action but they did a really good job on putting these sub-genres together. Edit : Now that I think of it this manga doesn’t feel shounen but feel more seinen

Space itself is can a cosmic horror, the vast dark void that we couldn't comprehend of what's at the other side. The darkness devil remind us that astronauts(our bravest humans) are just victims to a concept that exceeds our own.

Chainsaw man had me more unnerved than most "horror" manga. The way it presented hell just had something incredibly lovecraftian to it in a way you rarely see pulled off so well

新たか ですね…原始の人間の恐怖はやっぱり闇でしょうね〜獣とか敵にいつ襲われるか見えなくて分からないし…… それを人間は「火」を扱えるようになって進化して行ったわけですけど、デンジの光の力も火なので、闇の悪魔の力を取り込んだサンタクロースが負けたのも納得で、キレイに筋が通っててやばいです(笑)一見デンジがアホやってるようで原始の人間の闇との戦いが再現されてんのすげーです…現代の人間にとって最先端技術と科学を用いた宇宙飛行士ではダメだったんですね〜

This is one of the best scenes in like, any show. The imagination here is god level. I want to see this damn scene made in full so bad. This vid captured the atmosphere in totality. I was holding my breath when i saw the astronauts.

my absolute favorite part of the series. You really nailed the vibe of it! Got shivers

"The sounds of Chainsaws humming is the last thing you hear before you die." The idea that the Chainsaw Demon is the one thing anyone hears right before they die and pass on is frightening. No matter if you are a demon or a human, the humming is not too far from death's door. And he will be the last person who will remember you.

I can say that watching it in a totally dark place or putting a phone on and listening to these voices and trying to imagine what I saw in this video, It was one of the scariest sensations I've ever had, a few days later I waited for it to rain for the frogs to come out of the rivers and lakes. For me to hear their sounds at night, alone with the darkness. This experience left me speechless.

I just had a realization. The reason why the appearance of the Darkness Devil is heralded by the bisected corpses of astronauts specifically is because astronauts explore OUTER SPACE. Think! Space is often referred to as “ the final frontier” or “the great UNKNOWN,” and it’s mostly a DARK, empty VOID broken up by stars and planets. *What better place for the Darkness Devil to reside than the one place humanity has only barely begun to understand?*

Phenomenal, this is actually my favorite part of Chainsaw man and this person did it design justice.

with the anime fast approaching this is really the scene I’m most excited for and we all know why . That primal fear of the darkness is immense .

I have never heard of Chainsaw Man but I’m immediately intrigued by this! everything about the video- the visuals, music, editing, etc, is amazing! good job on this!! I’m new to reading manga, as of fall 2021, and I have to say reading Chainsawman (CSM) is a wonderful insane trip! I can’t believe I’m currently on vol. 8 already + have just pre-ordered vol. 9. My Hero Academia vol. 1 was the first manga I read but immediately stopped in favor of something different; also bc I was spoiled for the latest season/I found it VERY hard to “re-live” 4 seasons worth of content again in book form as an anime only fan. I think a big reason why I did a speed run of CSM is bc I had never heard of it and this is also my first time reading the source material before it’s anime adaption comes out so it’s cool. I hope you pick up the manga and/or watch the anime when it drops. Can’t recommend it enough!👌😈

Chainsaw man is my first manga I've read from chapter 1, other Mangas I started later down the line- example: AOT, didn't wanna wait for anime, read manga, One piece, got spoiled, decided to read manga to not get spoiled etc
