Zerg are the adaptive alien race. Their units are generally less efficient than Terran and Protoss units. This means that Zerg relies more about making the right units to counter enemies. Every time a door closes (immortals or tanks vs ravagers), another door is always open (mutas or broodlords). "The swarm" can create units much faster than the other races, allowing for the constant swap of army comp or wave after wave of Zerg attacks.

Its funny because in the mean time, even if zerg is supposed to be the adaptative race you,'ve got terran and their hellion-hellbat viking liberator etc. XD

15-20 seconds for a new army to counter them? Zerglings are the only unit that builds that quickly haha. But yes it is true they have the ability to quickly swap tech paths and as long as you're good with your larva injects you can always be ready to morph a whole new army when it is needed! Isn't it lovely. They're such awesome looking creatures too.

SomeGuy If you're playing PvP and you lose a mass of stalkers to a mass of immortals, you can't just make a mass of void rays or something to counter. If you're playing ZvP, however, and you lose a mass of roaches to a mass of immortals, you can almost instantly have a mass of lings and hydras to counter. All races have to adapt unit comps, but Zerg do it the fastest.

Sato Protoss kind of won, because some hydras on the right just started to move instead of fighting, so if Protoss actually fought, it would've been a decisive victory for Protoss, but they decided to retreat, because.... Reasons. Besides, that stalker force in the main probably got decimated, because it was way too many muta to fight without AoE.

Moy O Not true! In my opinion it is actually easier to get higher APM with zerg than with other races. Probably because of the constant hatchery>larva selections. Basically, it takes 3 actions to build a unit (+ you often control click it to put it in a group), terrans and protoss can do that in 2 actions.

yup, there is little strategy in it, its all about the tactic and mostly the APM and knowing builds(guess you can argue builds are the strategic layer of it). why i like Tww1/2 so much more as a strategy game, both playing but especially watching; as APM doesn't mean more than strategic overview and tactical choice's. i hate how SC1/2 is Far more about APM and "cookie cutter build" than it is about strategy and outplaying the opponent: high apm >>> strategy and tactical knowledge

Or are you just bothered that the video sometimes cuts to a guy in his room with a mic in front of his face? If that is the case, I feel like you should just recognize that he is one of the preeminent starcraft personalities in the scene - a pro commentator and ex-progamer.
