I know I am Sindhi myself & there is no Sindh in India today , it's only in Pakistan. I just quoted a saying by one British authors he said about Sindh when Sindh used to be a part of British India !!

Wesay Sukkur Barrage Wirasat ma mili hoi chez hai, Mujhy pata ni kyun wirasat main milli hoi chez pay hayrat ni hoti. Agar pakistan azad hone k bad asa kuch bana hota toh uski feeling alag hi honi thi. Pakistan azad hone k bad bhi kafi baray baray projects bane hain. Lakin Sukkur Barrage dekh k Aik taraf achi feeling bhi hai or doosri taraf mayoosi bhi hai k hum asa kuch bana sakte hain ab?

My father among first Civil Engineer inder British was among others compeleted the Construction of Sukkur Barrage ,Canals.He even supervised walla of Sadhubela mandir on Sindhu River

Thumbs up to another excellent V-log on Sukkur. We have so many hidden gems in Sindh. I think you missed Mir Masoom Shah's Mazarand its Minaret. During my childhood between 1973-75 we visited Sukkur from Kahirpur many times and still remember climbing on the top of Mir Masoom Shah Bikhri's Minaret.

Let me allow here to say that molana Muhammad Ali joher in his news paper comrade had several times reminded pleaded argued and advocated the need of sukkur barrage Infront of the then white rulers of ours and his efforts are also included in shaping up this huge modern miracle in agriculture and water management history! The sad aspect of all this Muslim fraternity shown by the Muslims of UP never recognized by you sons of the soil! My request is be large hearted be open minded and pay the admiration and recognition where it comes to pay!
